First job I used Cavins Construction for was a patio and side walk job to include haul off of of removed dirt from job. Since I was not present they decided it would be easier if they spread it across my back yard. Problem was is was full of gravel. It took me all summer to clean that up, but I thought I would give them another chance on a very similar job. New concrete manager Brandon very difficult to work with trying to increase his margins. Tried to take advantage of previous customer wanting 2.5 times previous price for almost identical work. I could understand an increase to cover increases in costs but nothing has gone up 250% in 13 months. I would certainly get other bids an avoid this company.

Avoid the concrete services if you want quality work. Company charges premium prices and then pours an unlevel(side to side) driveway. And then I was met with one laughable response after another-excuses and then lies from the concrete manager. Owner doesnt return phone calls. Company cuts corners by using exclusively immigrant labor and also completely skips the city of Norman permit process. Look elsewhere. EDIT: THE OWNER HAS ISSUES WITH THE TRUTH. NOT ONE AMERICAN DID ONE MINUTE OF LABOR ON THE JOB(SEE UPLOADED PHOTO). AND, THE EXISTING DRIVEWAY IS LEVEL WHILE THE ADDITION I PAID GOOD MONEY FOR IS NOT. THE SADDEST PART IS THE OWNER IS WELL AWARE OF BOTH OF THESE FACTS.

Cavins Construction did an excellent job on our new sidewalk and on the repair of our pool deck. The workers were helpful and courteous in every way. They did extra detail work without being asked to do it. Brandon and Justin made sure everything was done to perfection. Thanks guys!
