I received a Great Clips gift card from my sister and her Fiance. I have a hairstylist, and she is wonderful, but have been unable to get in to see her due to a budget short fall, in a long time. I needed a haircut, plain and simple, and very badly especially with an event coming soon. I did some online research specific to location, pricing and services offered and decided I would try out the Corvallis store. I really liked the online check-in that was very convenient and the time I needed there was only an 8 minute wait time. I arrived to the salon and was greeted by my stylist Shawn. She checked me in and asked me some questions, ie, how do you want your hair cut etc. I grabbed a hair style book from the lobby as I walked by so I could show her some pictures of what I was looking for, sometimes a visual is better than just my explanation of what I am trying to describe as a style. After a few minutes discussing my preferences and what I dont want in a haircut, Shawn got it and I asked for a shampoo. Shawn knows how to shampoo a head of hair let me tell you!!! Without even asking for anything extra or a " please scrub" she went to it, and it was heaven for sure! I received the standard 2 shampoos and a 2 minute at sink conditioner. But the scalp massage was very nice. Shawn commenced to cutting my hair and made small talk, as a professional would, just to get to know me, and me to know her, building a relationship needed for future interactions. I get the Great Clips business model, its a quick cut and go kind of place, and that is fine, but for me, I want a little more and that is what I received from Shawn. She read me like a open book. She shampooed me, gave me a precise haircut one that I wanted, and even blow dried my hair (not discussed and not charged) enough so that I did not leave her chair with a wet head, and she did the one thing that I think most hairstylist miss when blow drying, they automatically pick up a brush!! Not needed, Shawn used her hand with the blow dryer and went to working with my own freshly cut hair and natural body to get the majority of moisture from it and then was able to manage the style as needed enough to get me out the door looking pretty dog gone cute!. I will be back to see Shawn for sure as she and I clicked on so many levels. Shawn is an experienced Hairstylist, is confident, friendly and knowledgeable of her craft. Thanks so much Shawn, see you in a couple months!!

The experience was fine, the haircut itself was terrible. I told the hair stylist what i wanted. She does a have ass job and shows me and im like thats not short enough and make small talk. She trims it and looks ok, and im already realizing she missed a few spots. When she trimmed the top again, she did it really half ass, so now i have random long chunks mixed in with the length that i wanted. I will go somewhere else next time that.

NOT GOING BACK!! Ive been a pretty faithful customer for the past three years, but Im fed up, and wont go back. Its just too much work to get a consistent cut--it ends up being different every time. Also the estimated wait times are pretty optimistic. Tonight they told me 30 minutes and it ended up being an hour. I should have left, but after I had already waited 30 minutes, I didnt want to give up. goodbye not so great clips

The quality is really inconsistent. Sometimes the stylist is really good and Im happy about the result when I leave, but sometimes theyre half-way decent at best. When I went in today, the woman was so clipper happy that she cut it waaay too short without verifying proper length, etc so now its noticeably uneven. Im honestly thinking of going back tomorrow to get a buzzcut and starting over.

the number response given is a generic reply when you call the number given it takes you to an aoutomated recording, no one reached out to me, all the great clips are individually owned so just because this one was bad does not mean they all are. its the lack of concerned that the owners managers have that makes me not want to come to this establishment again.

Today was my first time at Great Clips and I was a bit nervous. I have always gone to salons and paid $40-50 dollars. This was the first time I have ever been satisfied with a hair cut. I had long hair and took off 9 inches. Jayme cut my hair and I was very pleased with she did with my hair. I couldnt have been more pleased paying $14 too.

I went here to get my bangs trimmed and was super specific about what I wanted. I wanted my exact same bangs just a little shorter so they were out of my eyes, something that should not be hard. She cut them uneven, choppy and too short.

Took me months to grow my hair out to have it ruined in a total of 10 minutes. The fade was even poorly done, will not be returning. Ill even upload the pictures of this "quality service" so you can see how straight and even it is

Ive had a great experience every time Ive gone there. Ive gotten much better haircuts here than at more expensive places. They listen to you and know what theyre doing, especially with curly hair!

Pretty much every time I go there i get a pretty good cut. However its slightly expensive and about $13 to get my hair trimmed is ridiculous but if you donate your hair (which I often do) its free

I have taken my two young boys there twice and the results are okay. I think $12 for a childs cut is a bit much, but I asked for a scissors cut the second time and liked the results better.

Ive always gotten great haircuts here, far better than most other places in Corvallis--- and they even fixed a terrible haircut I had gotten elsewhere! Highly recommend.
