I must say before going into detail, that the owner has gone way above and beyond to fix the damage done by her employee and has assured once my hair is healthy enough that she personally will do a perm for the cost of the product, she also has done a treatment and haircut for free and will be doing another haircut free, and will do a perm with a product that ensures it will not be chemically damaged again, but I will have to pay for the actual product. Heres what happened .... I went in for a perm and the first one was amazing. I made an appointment and asked for the same gal for my second perm. I arrived for my appointment and they told me she no longer worked there ( surprised they didnt phone me to inform me before the appointment since I specifically asked for her) I was upset with this but didnt say so, they then told me Ashley had done several perm and was very good at them. As Im sitting in the chair already in rollers, she tells me she has only done 1 perm on long hair before. WHAT!!! Im in rods with chemical s in my hair and now she tells me this. I dont know what she did wrong but I left with wet hair that looked like it was curly, but when it dried I noticed how damaged my hair was and that there was no curl. It was awful. I have 2 trips planned and both are well before my hair will be able to have the cute look I wanted. Grr

My wife did keratin smoothening treatment for her hair here for $49 (may be a little bit off in remembering the cost) and they said it would stay for at least a month without any special care. She did it on Nov 28 and it stayed smooth and straight until she washed her hair for the first time on Dec 5 (just about 7 days as she did not wet her hair). The picture here shows how it became right after the first wash. They said not to wash her hair for just 3 days and it would be fine for a month. She was thoroughly disappointed by her hair as it was for her wedding day on Dec 9 in India. She was already in India by then or else we would want clarification and our money back for such a case!

Best deal in Corvallis if youre looking for a quick, decent, affordable haircut. They only take walk-ins, which is pretty convenient if youre a student. The staff is friendly, experienced, and accommodating. Its only $9.99 for a haircut (mens OR womens), and $4 extra if you want a shampoo. I dont tan anymore, but they also offer tanning and its dirt cheap- only $3 per tan. Ive been to several places in Corvallis and this is definitely the most student-friendly pricing Ive seen.

I absolutely Love this place. Yesterday I took my kids, 8 and 2, to get their hair cut. First time my 2 year old has actually gotten a whole hair cut, last time she screamed so we stopped at the bangs and apologized. My 8 year old loves her hair cut, she talked to the stylist to figure out what she wanted and what would look good. She loves her hair cut also. They look great and we will definately go back there.

I am not one who will spend $50+ just to get a hair cut (as it is basically that price anywhere else in Corvallis). Its just hair, and it will grow back. Nonetheless, I love So Fly because of their $10 haircuts (and good prices on hair coloring too!). Ive gone several times and never had an issue. Even if you go during the busy time, it isnt more than a 15 minute wait for a haircut.

I dont have anything extravagant done to my hair, just a usual trim and an occasional French braid but these ladies always treat me like Im the most important customer in the place, I never have to wait long, and since I have minimal work done Im in and out rather quickly. The fact that they also dont charge an arm and a leg for a trim is also a big plus :)

Since I moved to Corvallis last autumn this has been my go-to place for my brows and hair and theyve rarely let me down... one time I finished a brow wax with one of my eyes stuck shut but that was really the only bad experience Ive had there. My wife and I adore this place. :D

Absolutely one of the worst experiences Ive had in a long long time. I really dont care for people to tease me if I am going bald. Apparently the only customer they want are college students. Beverly, you are the worst at customer service. I hope you have other income.

Affordable and friendly service. Ive been here a number of times and have only gotten one mediocre haircut. It was late in the day and the girl cutting my hair seemed to be having a bad day. Other than that one experience, this is my go-to place to get my haircut.

Im not going to lie, Gina gave me the best hair cut Ive had in awhile! It looks great when I go natural (which is very, very curly) and even when I straighten my hair. Very pleased with how I spent my $9.99.
