Rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend Express Employment. There are plenty of other temp agencies that do a better job, and treat you with respect. I had high hopes following my first interaction with Sheilyne (probably incorrect spelling). She was extremely friendly, although she was a bit unclear on a few details. But upon showing up at the office the next day, I was greeted by a rude woman working at the counter who treated me as if I was the sole annoyance in her life. She was not helpful in anyway, matter of fact another man who was waiting had to come and specify what her instructions were because they were so bad at proper communication. He said he had never seen a temp agency be so useless and rude. Once I returned to the desk, the two front counter girls and a manager spoke amongst themselves as if I was invisible before finally continuing to speak down to me and bark instructions at me like I was inept. To top it all off, the job posting that I was initially applying for wasnt even listed on their job search. I find the tactics employed by these temp agencies to be rather dishonest and annoying, and Express was by far the worst. They post multiple ads for similar positions, but withhold the company names, forcing you to apply thru them. Once you do apply, they dont even know which specific listing(s) you are interested in, youre now just another applicant in their system that they will try to send you wherever. I would love to be able to simply drop off a resume in person to the company looking to hire, but Express makes that impossible. Had Sheilyne been able to act as a liason between myself and the potential employer I was applying to, things would have likely gone a lot smoother. But forcing me to become a part of their unorganized system, while simultaneously being treated like crap, was more than I cared to put up with. Do not waste your time with this temp agency. Drop off resumes the old fashioned way, or seek a different temp agency.

I was extremely disappointed with my treatment through Express Employment Professionals. I received a call from a gentleman who asked me to come in on the same day. I arrived fifteen minutes early and filled out the necessary paperwork, took a drug test, and watched the required videos. As I was preparing to leave, I was assured that I would be contacted soon regarding job opportunities. I was also told to "stay on top of" the person who was assisting me. He told me to call him at the end of the week if I had not heard from him and to hold him accountable. I did so, and left a very detailed message. Once again, I thanked him for the help and explained that it meant a lot to me to have the extra help. Being new to the Eugene area was very intimidating, so I was so excited for the help. I did not get a return phone call. I tried to call numerous other times but this employee, according to the front office, was never available. I was really excited about this opportunity and showed gratitude for the help I was promised because I was feeling so desperate after not being able to find a job after graduation. Thankfully, my own efforts paid off and I was able to find a job myself. It is full-time and I have great benefits. I just feel that EEP should know that some of us are falling through the cracks and feeling as though we were not worth the effort.

I want to take a moment to express my profound appreciation to the staff at Express Pros for their services in my employment seeking endeavors. Casey, Crystie and Sheilynn really went above and beyond in their efforts to help place me in a position with a company that was an excellent match. I could tell that they were really looking out for me and had my best interest in mind. Sara and Kristi in the front office were also truly helpful and were always able to quickly and accurately address my questions and concerns. I applied with a couple of other placement agencies in town and never heard a word from them after completing their application process. What sets Express Pros ahead of the pack is their level of communication and professionalism. They are excellent about keeping in touch with you. They look you in the eyes, shake your hand and treat you with dignity. They are personable, friendly, upbeat and passionate about what they do. I was truly impressed with this organization and I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking employment.

I had two different managers look at me like I was a piece of gum stuck to their shoe. One of them was my interviewer. Needless to say, even though I scored very well on their tests, no one has called me back, and now Andrew is ignoring my calls altogether. I wasted part of an afternoon there, and about forty minutes taking skills tests that no one will ever see. I can tell by other reviews that I am not the only person this has happened to, which is sad, because the owner of this franchise is losing out on good people because his or her staff is incompetent. I should have known how unprofessional this office would be when I walked in and had to listen to one of the managers tell the receptionist about how badly she needed a "hot date." I suppose I should be happy they arent actively helping me find work, because I would hate to be associated with this high school level employment agency.

Whats wrong with these people? Fill an app out online, fill an app out manually as well then take a math and reading test then take Word, Excel, typing, 10 key etc. This is all done manually! After thats done and Ive wasted a half an hour of repeating everything I just did online, the rude and obnoxious staff up front has to hand enter everything!!! Get this, she takes foreverrrrr to enter it and I wait again. The lady I first spoke with over the phone who was going to interview me acted like she was queen B!(*& and that should have been my first clue to stay far away. The building looks like its from Hud housing, there is zero parking. I just got married and had a name change but didnt receive my new social card so I had to come back because my application name is different. I get that but why didnt she tell me this before I went through everything or before I came in?

I would not recommend Express Personnel to any body seeking work. They treat people with disrespect acting as though you are dirt under their shoe. They will waste 2+ hours of your time filling out paper work ( even though you already filled out application on their web site) taking a little test, watching a video, doing a drug test on the spot in their their office than speaking with a " Recruiter" to have the recruiter tell you they will contact you in the next couple of days which you will not hear ANYTHING from them. When you call you usually have to leave a message than you get NO return phone Call From any of them. When you call the receptionist that answers the phone sounds as though you are burdening her with your call. Express Is a terrible place to seek work through. I recommend going through a different Temp. place NOT EXPRESS!!!!!!
