Family oriented atmosphere. Clean and simple. All ages. In the past I have had memberships with 24hr, LA fitness, and Chuze fitness (San Diego). Good gyms but not great. I believe what helps make a great gym and even a great business is to be locally owned. Simple. Being in touch with your community and networking within that community (big or small) helps you understand what your customers wants and needs are. I recently moved to Gresham and hopped online to see what gyms where in my area. I called around to the 3 big franchise gyms and all they wanted to do was sell sell sell over the phone. I then called Cascade Athletic Club in Gresham and spoke with Chris Hart who the Membership Director. I was very pleased. I mentioned I would be in within an hour or two. He first sat down with me and we discussed what the gym has to offer. I was a little shocked when I saw $65 per month. It wasnt until after the tour I complete understood; mens sauna, cold plunge (tub), jacuzzi in mens locker room, plenty of open lockers, not to mention extremely clean, co-Ed steam room, salt water pool, small indoor track, free yoga classes, new spin bike, a lounge, healthy foods bar, and crisp cold drinking fountains everywhere, a must need. Along with the tour around the gym he shinned some light on the owners, who own and operate the 4 gyms in the surrounding Portland area. He mentioned they stop in frequently as well! Its always a plus when you know the staff and they know you! I love when the staff members dont have to try or go the "extra mile" to build a relationship. Its natural here and its shown. Hats off to the owners, the entire staff and Chris at the Cascade Athletic Club in Gresham. I plan on being a long term member. Thank you Dillon (Also they have a discount rate if your a college student) (I also wanted to mention, I have met several members who have been with the gym for 20+ years, that shows a lot)

I love this gym in Gresham and have to say its not just because of the excellent staff. They try to keep things super clean and I was even told they have a cleaning service that comes every night. I see the female customer service staff in the womens restroom all the time cleaning windows/mirrors wiping down handles and replacing amenities etc. Every time there is an issue of something that has been broken or needs something updated or replaced, I have noticed, theyre always super quick to have it serviced and back in order. In the six months Ive been here the womens hot tub has been serviced and repaired, the wet community sauna and spa have both needed service and within days were back in order. With as many people coming in and out of this place I can imagine things get used quite a bit so for them to be repaired and back in order as quickly as they are has been impressive.

These reviews are for the CLUB, not for the east Gresham facility. There are no courts or pool at the Gresham location. The prices are ridiculous for a membership. For the very pricey dues there should be towels available to members, real towels or at least PAPER towels. I can and do pay a fraction of Cascades fees and get everything I need 24 hours a day., 7 days a week at one of the box gyms Cascade employees and owners will tell you are so awful. Um, no, they arent awful at all, very accommodating actually.

DO NOT GO HERE!! Its all peaches and cream till you want to cancel! They make you submit in writing a 30 day notice and make sure they get every penny you owe of your membership. They literally prorate your last 30 days! I havent used this gym for the last 6 or more months and actually got a membership somewhere else and still had to pay cascade to fulfill my 12 minto membership, or pay the $200 early cancel fee. So glad to me on my way of being done with this crappy gym.

Due to work I was unable to continue going to this gym and ended up cancelling my membership. There was a little miscommunication with whether I would owe additional money. Long story short, when I sat down with the managers and spoke to them about this issue, they were every polite and courteous. We came to an amenable agreement and the manager was very understanding. Great costumer service and solid facilities. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I am currently under judgment against me for a contract I signed up for I completed my agreement and gave written notice I am moving out of the area they lost my 30 day written notice which I have a copy of and turned me into collection which I was served three years later which I will have to pay. I will be hireing a attorney to counter sued. Buyer beware they will take your money but may not honer your contract. Good luck to those who have contracts

Started going here with my family a couple months ago. Kids really enjoy the kids Club, and us adults enjoy working out. The staff seems to care about making it a place that is a good and comfortable place to go. We just signed up with Quincy for personal training and he is awesome. He seems to know what he is talking about and genuinely wants to help us improve. Enjoying it!

been a member 24 years, best people, best staff, I dont know how things could be better., the staff are well trained, cordial, amicable, plenty to do, the core of staff and other members make for a really "look forward to" visitation, The core here is the staff, and the members, which added up makes for a total package, the managment must be doing something right...

When you first drive into the Gresham CAC parking lot, the place looks crowded. However, once you get inside you start to wonder where are all the people. The Gresham location is so big that you never have to wait to use a piece of equipment. It has great amenities and is always nice and clean. Those $10 a month gyms do not even come close to comparing to CAC.

I would love this place if the people working there were nice and not stuck up and rude. When you first go there to see what its like it looks very nice and big pool area and seems like a great place, but people arent really that friendly which is why I rated so low. They have no hospitality or friendly service and is why my friends and I go else where.

What a wonderful place to go with your family and friends. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere could not be better, and the family time is great. Its great that my kids want to go to workout so I get excited to workout also. There are so many things for families to do to stay fit and happy. Thank you Cascade

Love this gym! It has everything I need to get a great workout in and also relax! My kids love to go, especially my 7 year old who goes to their kidfit class every week, while mom enjoys some "me time". The staff is great as well, super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

Loved the staff, very upbeat and positive. The lounge areas are nice and comfy with tables a food bar and tvs. There is a lot to do here including raquetball, tennis, pools, aerobics classes and more. Their classes are exciting and make me want to come back again!
