I called the Chop Shop after having gone to “visit” my beautician. I had decided that I wanted to try something new, so I chose to have my hair cut and styled in a short hairdo, only to walk out of her shop resembling something close to Gumbe’. The beautician had shaved half of my hair too low and left other parts too long. I called the Chop Shop desperately searching for some one that could cut Afro-american hair. Travis answered the phone and told me to come in and he would fix it. I was skeptical, but my hair looked so bad that it could not get worse. To make a long story short Travis did a wonderful job. I walked out all smiles, after having entered his Chop shop close to tears. My short hairdo is just what I had wanted when I started my day. Thanks for making what could have been a terrible situation in to a short lived, bad memory. Lorraine 

I first called the shop and asked for joffer if he was there today, they said yes. Next I asked if I needed to make an appointment, they said No. So, I went and signed the walk in sheet and wrote my name, time and barber I wanted to get a hair cut. I waited 30 mins. Saw who I think the barber was and goes to the desk where the walk-in sheet is. Doesnt call my name, skips me TWICE. so I decided to ask another barber if he is available, he says no because he is only by appointments and most if not all the barbers are only by appointment only. The receptionist when I first called stated no appointment needed, only walk-ins. I waited over an hour. I left to another barber who actually cares and values peoples time, as this place doesnt.

I have never been treated so poorly...It was very difficult to even get anyone to acknowledge that we were there. I was able to get one of the guys to look away from his cell phone long enough to tell me that he was "super busy" but to go to the back of the shop and ask someone else. When I got back there I was told that they were unable to use a razor on my sons hair because, "Thats a girl thing". Finally one guys said that he could try to do my sons hair, but i needed to come back in three hours and pay $20 bucks. If I had wanted to be treated like i was at a chain store hair salon, I would have gone to one in the first place. Two trips for me... first and last!

"GOOD music Dillon!!" This place is amazing!!! Everyone is schooled and knows how to hook up mens hair with the fade and CLEAN with sharp side burns! Been bring my son here sometime now and never regret a visit. Dillon is awesome! Does a clean cut job! Music and all the fun personalities are fab, ESPECIALLY the music!! Recently went in and NO MUSIC, very turned off.. Then someone turned it on in the front BUT unable to hear over the Clippers lol SO PLZ DO US A FAV AND ALLOW THE MUSIC, TURN IT UP!! Thats what makes the "Chop Shop" AWESOME Especially when waiting. . TURN UP THE JAMS PLZ PS~ Dont forget to TIP

Went in on the December 23rd, they were completely booked, and I believe it was Jennifer who squeezed me in between hair coloring, just to fix my disaster of layers. When I went to pay her, she wished me a merry Christmas and said I didnt need to pay. It not only made my day, and my holiday, but it really helped me thru a rough time Ive been going through. I will definitely be going back, and recommending this salon to everyone I know!! Thank you so much!!

Couldnt even get our haircuts! I waited for an hour to get my kids haircuts. They have a list, but apparently if you know the stylist, you skip the list. We finally got my youngest cut, but gave up after being skipped yet again for someone who just walked in the door. I have five boys to get haircuts for, and next time I will go to a business that treats me like my time matters.

Seriously, I would not go anywhere else. There is always a lot of staff on duty, so you have very little wait time for your cut - plus some barbers take appointments. Ive had both clipper and scissor cuts here, and never have been disappointed. Theyre pretty much straight and to the point, theyre there to cut good hair and not push products on you. Ive seen them cut all ages.

Im a 24 yo male university student. Ive had my hair cut a dozen times or so here by Ernie and Rene. The cuts I see from the other barbers look great too. I always walk out feeling like I was in great hands. Great place with a fun atmosphere. Friendly barbers. Yes, there is a decent wait time some days, but the cuts are fast -- theyve just got a lot of customers.

A good barber is a great thing to have. After moving away from my old one, Id spent almost 2 years trying out shops and barbers until I stumbled upon this place and got the best cut Ive had in a long time from Jacob. This is a real barber shop, with real straight razors and real talent. You wont be disappointed, one cut turned me into a once a month regular.

Im surprised this place isnt more popular. Every single person that works here is incredible talented at what they do. Dillon (I hope thats correct spelling) is my go to guy now. He is a perfectionist. Its extremely well priced but its value is worth much more. No need to go anywhere else. Thank you Chop Shop!

Im a new oregonian & I have to say the chop shop is the chillest hair studio around. Wether youre a guy or gal, the chop shop will do your hair right. Very friendly staff, wouldnt go anywhere else for my haircare. Plus their prices are simply unbeatable!

Had to wait about 2 hours to get my haircut, yet to get skipped by a couple of people. Horrible customer service. Also saw one of the barbers cross me off the list to help another irritated customer.

Killer spot. Forget these walmartish, sooper cut, no flaver shops. The Chop Shop brings back the social hub and cultural significance that is the classic barber shop.

Wait times are terrible. Waited about 2 hours for a hair cut. Barbers are awesome guys great hair cuts just not the place to be if your in any kind of hurry.

Good cuts but Ive been waiting over an hour and Im still waiting.... 1 were was of us. Around 6 barbers on staff - only 1has been called. SLOW!
