Its called the Laundry Queen but GRACE(the owner)should be called the LAUNDRY NAZI! She hovered over my back to mske sure i didnt overload HER washers and MADE me use the bigger more expensive washer for only 1 item! Iasked if she was the owner and told her I wouldnt be back. Thought it was over but she came back to tell me, SHE NO LIKE TROUBLE MAKERS! I told her that was ok cuz I didnt like her either. Then she told me i left dirt in HER washer that I didnt even use and she had to clean it out and someone was going to complain to HER. Then after putting my clothes in the dryer and starting it for 25 minutes she told me I had to be back in 20 minutes!!!! This place is really expensive and a lot of the appliances were out of order. I will never be back!!!

What you can do here: laundry, use the restroom (with 3/4 of a door!), and play 2 poorly converted video games. Strangely enough, the owner/operator has closed off or removed all available electrical outlets. I used to be able to charge my phone here while doing laundry. No more. I bet the City of Newport would like to know about some of the electrical & plumbing work done thats not to code. I probably wouldnt bring small children here. There are signs everywhere telling you what you can and cannot do. The machines appear to be older. Only using this facility until we get a home with washer/ dryer hookups.

Its clean and small but if you want to beat the crowds go early in the morning. Cheap and most of the machines are old BUT THEY WORK GREAT!!! There are only about 8 new ones. I will definitely come back to this one when we are in this area again.

On the road. Older machines - but owner helped me select the correct size for my needs. Clean. Felt safe while here even though there were some strange people using facilities and charging their laptops, etc.
