I was in a pinch to get a haircut on a Friday evening around 5:30 PM in preparation for a two week Marine Corps training Im going on. Being the son of a perfectionist barber (who lives out of state), Im very particular about my hair and who cuts it. I also prefer a straight razor being used for the base of the fade and thats few and far between around the Portland area. I called Slab Town Barbershop and Marty answered. He said their last appointments were at 5:30 and then asked where I was, I work fairly close and he told me that if I could be there in 10 he would cut my hair. Slab Town Barbershop is an amazing shop, the atmosphere is awesome, location is great and its really the only shop Ive ever felt 100% comfortable getting my hair cut in. Marty did an excellent job with the straight razor and fade, didnt rush even though it was close to closing time and I enjoyed the whole experience! The haircut was very reasonably priced and I wasnt charged extra for the straight razor. Everyone around this area should at least check them out once! Thanks again Marty! Ill be back :)

Brandon has been my barber for over a year and I had to follow him to this new spot that he opened up. Ive had the freshest fade since I started getting cut by Brandon and get compliments on my hair all the time so its totally worth it. Shop is owned by two really friendly guys and Ive always been able to get the cut that I want when talking to Brandon, even when I drastically change my mind and go for something totally different. Cant recommend their skills enough

Truly the best barbershop! How you ask? Well, Marty and Branden bring such a fun and chill vibe to their shop. You want a place that you just walk in relax and shoot the $hit while getting a great hair cut or beard trim then you found your spot. Get there a little early or stay a little after to enjoy checkers and a Montucky cold snack (beer)!
