Wont be taking even a lawnmower here ever again. Towed my 89 Camry over to have some headbolts removed and the cylinder head resurfaced for a full headgasket job at another friends shop across the street. Requested both of these things twice to the owner and to another gentlemen who picked up the phone, with the latter giving a tone that sounded like they didnt want to do it. Charged me $100 just for the head bolts removed, found they hadnt even drilled them out and used extractors on them. Pushed the car across the street to the shop and found out that they hadnt resurfaced the head either. Charged me $70 for which I was quoted $45 over the phone. Should have listened to the reviews more, would not recommend

I have known Jeff and the guys in the shop for many years while they helped me restore my six old antique automobiles and trucks. Of particular noteworthy fact is their expertise in engine machine work rebuilding my 1928 Chevrolet National AB Convertible Cabriolet, my 1931 Standard Model A Roadster, 1935 Chevrolet EB Light Delivery, 1936 Chevrolet FA Master Town Sedan, 1956 Austin Healey BN-2, and my 1965 Chevrolet C-10 Caddy Powered Pickup. Jeff has guided me through each project with his fine machinist in every case over these many years through every issue. All my restored vehicles are still running and in top restored condition. Any issue has been corrected with professional care for all my vehicles.

My Father in law recommended these guys to me. I was skeptical from some of the reviews I had read online, but took my 94 s10 in for some minor repairs. Boy am I glad I did! As the first review states they not only fixed the problem with good parts and proper gaskets, but, for no charge, fixed and tightened several unrelated things! clamped my leaf springs , tightened u-bolts, checked out an exhaust leak, recommended a muffler shop, and gave some general troubleshooting advise about another vehicle we have! Just great service! Very nice to work with and I will definitely give return business in the future.

4.75 stars: These guys are super friendly and helpful. They were extremely accommodating. I needed a head decked and they got the job done. They lost a couple points because I could tell it was rushed and they left metal shavings on the head and there were some burrs around the valves that I have to carefully manually remove and make sure there were no shavings anywhere. Several hundred miles on that head now and no issues so I think they did the trick, their clean up work just isnt 5 stars but everything else is and Ill definitely be coming back.

I had a rebuilt engine installed a couple of years ago and my car hasnt run correctly since. When I go it back the defrost no longer worked. I to pay $185 to get a $.99 wire replaced because it had been attached incorrectly. A few days ago I noticed my radiator leaking. Turns out it wasnt the radiator. The engine had been installed incorrectly and coolant was being pumped thru everything. Its going to cost over $600 to fix. IF it will ever run again. Save your money, dont go to these hacks.

I had a rebuilt motor on my 95 4-runner and had a few minor issues. Not only did the owner fix said issues but also adjusted my clutch and other minor things that I never even paid for.I would highly recommend this shop and will be taking my wifes vehicle in. Thks guys.
