This place is an embarrassment! I went here to get my hi-lights done and what a nightmare! Ive been getting hi-lights for years at various salons. This place not only overcharges but they intentionally dont get color close to the scalp so you have to keep coming back more frequently. They charged me $65 for 15 foil hi-lights which was marginally noticeable while an upscale salon in Astoria did 30 foils and a haircut for $75! The hairdresser is Astoria examined my hair after I went to Perfect Look and said they fried my hair in the back. Perfect look doesnt use color toner either so they try to match the color you want which can be challenging. After my experience at Perfect Look I decided to go speak to the manager and very kindly said that my hair isnt what I expected and asked if there was anything she could do for me. She said no and wanted me to pay full price (again) if I wanted my hair fixed. Its been suggested to me that I report them to the Oregon Health Licensing Agency (Board of Cosmetology).

Ladies look elsewhere for courteous customer service! I signed in, next in line, and was directed to take a seat. While waiting, a man comes in the shop. The neon raspberry headed Crystal (to do my hair) began chatting with the just arrived male customer. A few minutes later, she sheepishly approaches me to ask "if I minded" if she did him first. Did she determine his time was more valuable than mine? I stood up and sardonically stated I would return when she was not so busy. On my way out, I inquired about the other shop in the mall. Later, I telephoned to express my dismay and was told the stylist was simply trying to accommodate us both; however, I had asked for no accommodation. In this shop, LADIES are last.

Nothing "perfect" about it. Got a cut here for $16.50, just a cut, yet they still charge u for a shampoo and blow dry.. I'm a guy and t's an easy job to do. They left my hair choppy and about 1cm long when I said an inch and a half.. then they put this hand full of gel in my hair and kept making excuses why it looked so choppy and bad. I would of made them fix it if I had any hair left!! This is where all the beauty school drop outs and failures work. I want my money back. Would not reccomend.

Walked in 35 min before close and asked the front desk women if there was time for hair cuts and she said yes but only one. Only one client was being taken care of and she said it will be 10min..okay, she talked and talked with her client taking her time. More than 10 went by and she asked what i wanted because she only had 10min left uhh HELLO! If you wanted to have a long convo with your client then you should not have wasted my time! Never going here again.

The haircut was good but the stylist spent a lot of time on personal calls and chewed her gum incessantly. She told the client in conspiratorial tones that he had problems with his scalp then proceeded to loudly tell the clients parent that shed given him advice about "something" but rather than embarrass him shed let him explain it. By the time she was done every other person in there was cringing for the poor kid. No tact or couth.

Great experience. Was a walk-in on a Monday afternoon. Im a guy so wasnt sure a "salon" would be a great choice but the reality is that barber shops on the Coast are frequently closed and thus unreliable. The stylist, Alfie, was friendly, didnt rush through just because it was a haircut. I thought the price ($16) was very fair and will return next time I need a haircut. Highly recommend Perfect Look.

Took my son here yesterday. We where the only ones in there. We signed ourselves in and sat down to wait. Three other people showed up and they where taken care of before my son. I was beyond furious. These women are clueless when it comes to customer service, and cutting hair, which is what I paid them to do. Never ever again.

The sign at the door says open until 7:30pm, walked in at 6:50pm, no one waiting, was told they couldnt take another customer. They should update their sign.

17 dollars for a terrible haircut. A cross eyed donkey could do better. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Fair service, fair haircut. No appointment needed and one of the cheaper places around.
