I used busy bee for my Fourth of July wedding. My theme was old fashion picnic and I wanted my food to match. Busy bee was the first place I contacted.Jan was very enthusiastic about my idea and had some great ideas on how to incorporate our picnic theme. I had talked to a few other places just to make sure but I just felt Jan really understood what I was looking for. The first time me and my fiancé met with her we realized we had no idea what we wanted. We could see what Jan was extremely experienced and knew what she would doing which made us feel sooo much better. She took our suggestions, made a few of her own and worked within our budget. She kept it touch all the way up to the wedding and always offered up her wedding knowledge when I asked for help. When our wedding finally came her and her team ROCKED it! I mean seriously knocked it out of the park! Our wedding day was Hot hot hot but that didnt stop her team from working hard and making everything look great! We had pulled pork sandwiches, and chicken skewers along with some amazing side salads and spicy coslaw! We actually got to eat unlike most newlyweds and it was so good! I cannot tell you how many people told us how much they LOVED the food! These guys really went the extra mile for me and I greatly appreciate Jan and her team!

So pleased to hear Busy Bee Catering is venturing into the Gluten Free World. The GF cinnamon rolls you made are absolutly fabulous! We feel so fortunate to have been among the first to get to try out your newest gooey delight. Its so nice to know a caterer that is willing to go the extra mile to provide delicious gluten free items that we and all of our guests can enjoy. We have used Busy Bee on several occasions and have always appreciated your attention to detail and the beautiful presentation. Busy Bee last catered our Christmas Caroling party a week ago, the food was fantastic! They also catered our wedding 3 years ago, we had a park setting and couldnt have been more impressed with the food and service we received. The food was presented in a beautiful manner, my friends have been trying to replicate the presentation when they have parties. The service was excellent, I almost felt as though we had a wedding planner with the suggestions and help we received from flowers to a wedding cake. I would highly recommend Busy Bee Catering to anyone in need of catering services. Thanks!

Delicious, beautiful, professional. As a professional photographer Ive eaten at lots of weddings & events in Portland and the surrounding areas. Im always excited when I find out that its Busy Bee! Their food is always amazing, the meat is by far the best Ive had; tender and flavorful. Even their fresh fruit is always good, none of that hard flavorless stuff, its always ripe and delicious. Their presentation is lovely and their staff and owners are kind, professional people who really know the ins and outs of putting on a great event! I highly reccomend them!

Coming from some one in the food industry, I couldnt be more excited that we used Busy Bee Catering for our Wedding. The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing, like something you dont see often. Our guests have been talking about the food ever since! Our annual Hoodland Womens Club Crab Feed for 100 plus attendees went off with style and class. Busy Bee played a big part in this. Jan was there to make suggestions as we planned, there when we worked through what to do next as we battled a snow storm that threatened to shut down the area, there as we set up for the event, there with GREAT food with the extra zap and class that Busy Bee Catering is know for, and then they were there as we closed up after the event.

Last month Busy Bee Catering catered our 2 weekend RV Show event. The food was outstanding and Jan and her husband were a pleasure to work with. I have been working with Busy Bee Catering for about four years and they have catered several events for both business and personal, and the always go the extra mile and do a great job! All food is created by scratch and with care. I especially enjoyed the last catering they did for my sons graduation in June- incredible egg/ sausage casserole that everyone loved, homemade scones and cinnamon rolls and lots of fresh fruit. The worst catering I have ever experienced! They were 2 1/2 hours late for the wedding, the berries they brought were moldy, they failed to provide enough salad, and they did a horrible job setting up the food (little decoration and display). They were hard to communicate with and never gave us a definitive invoice. Do not risk ruining your big day with this company!!!

Are you kidding! I could not have had better service or food. This was a memorial for my mom. I wanted everyone to leave saying what a good service it was, and that the food was good too. And that is exactly what happened. I picked the linen and flower colors and Jan helped me decide on what dishes to serve. Everything was perfect.

Amazing food and amazing people! The staff went above and beyond with everything and the food was delicious. Had MANY people tell us that it was the best wedding food they ever had (and I would agree). Everything tasted just like it did during the taste testing, home cooked and fresh!
