I tried to cancel my membership by driving to a physical location (I pay the higher cost membership to be able to go to any location) and they told me I can only cancel at the location where I signed up. I moved recently and dont live near that location, and I was told by an employee at the Allentown location that I can sign and send a letter to cancel. I did this in April, and its July, and IM STILL BEING CHARGED. After talking to the Bethlehem manager, I was offered NO refund for the past 3 months. This gym is NOT worth the hassle.

Favorite gym in the valley. Staff is nice, monthly charges are low (though sign up fees can be high and the yearly maintenance fees can be confusing). Big selection of machines, tons of free weights, bathrooms are always clean. The "Cinemaxx" room is awesome as you can do cardio while watching a movie.

The staff are unprofessional and Im surprised that the female trainers are out of shape. The male gym goers are desperate, aggressive, lonely and looking to hookup or whatever. Had two losers (male gym goers) within 2 days back to back bother me. Ill go for now but will cancel my membership very soon.

No music due to computer not working. Couldnt print out my plan as to whwn i would achieve my goals due to printer not working. Could not do my fat index due to no battery. When you are running a heath club you must stay on top ! I am a new client and hope they will ave better follow through!

FAIL BBB rating of "F" Unethical billing practices. Insists you cancel "in person".... so they can say it never happened and call you years later. I dont even live in the area anymore. I just got a collections call for a bill over $600. At $10/ month, theyve been billing me for years.

The gym itself is great, but I had an awful personal training experience. Long story short, I had a trainer that went MIA, and I had to fight higher management to let me use my remaining 7 sessions - in which they only allowed me to use 4.

Great placer! Muy husband and I always go there. Nice people and excellent for maintaining in good shape. I dont know how the instructors are... So just try it! Great value for your money!

I am at Maxx at least 3 times a week. It is always clean, the staff is friendly. If there is a problem with equipment it gets fixed in a timely manner.

Its a good place to work out. The only thing is that the staff doesnt tell you everything about the gym unless you pay for a trainer.

Facility is great. Trainers often train with coffees in hand. Doesnt look too professional to me.
