Staff is nice and the babysitting is super nice. my kids loved it which is the reason for my 4 stars. For the average person this place is great. But, as a weightlifter, it is not a good fit for me. First off u are forced to wear shoes in the gym ( I know the average lifter this doesnt affect them so looses no stars for this) and I ppowerlit which is safer barefoot (just an opinion you dont have to agree). Second - no heavy mats for deadlift or power cleans ect and if u dont want your floor messed up then u need to provide this. Third there is cardiovascular equipment in the weight area. This is clutter. Fourth- one power rack, one squat rack and if u are a lifter you know how often people use the rack for things that would be easily picked up from the floor making a power rack a coveted piece of eequipment in a cardio cluttered gym. Regardless these are the gripes of few probably and I thought should be shared but I wouldnt rate a CLEAN, friendly gym poorly for it. One star lost for the cardiovascular clutter. And having 2 Smith racks but one power rack and no heavy mats or a good spot to lift outside of a machine.

This place isnt the best 100% or even decent. Refusing its patrols denial to guests, even with payment, YMCA constantly changes policies. My cousin is a member and wants to invite me and my sister to the pool. As we got to the admission hall, they said a minor cannot bring a minor, even with an adult. This is the most idiotic rule ever known. Why not have fees like normal pools? No child can invite another to play EVER AGAIN without them having a membership too. As listed in the Summer Program Membership, "YMCA members can bring guests along with a $10 fee per guest." Now I cannot ever visit my cousin in the Summer to hangout, we live states away. Thanks for ruining my Summer vacation. Right now its late at night and everyone is angry or pissed. Once again, thanks for being horribly qualified. We will make sure to never come here and tell our friends that we usually invite as well.

It’s a great place for a solo workout or swim, but where it really shines is in the classes. They host many different types of classes - Kettlebell, Zumba, Tabata, Yoga, Body Pump, Spin, etc. I’ve enjoyed every one I’ve taken. My personal favorites are the workouts with kettlebells. They have an aerobic version of kettlebells on Thursdays and a strength training version on Tuesdays. The classes are perfect for people trying to mix strength training, cardio, and toning. The instructors are both experienced and kind and the ambience is friendly to families, mature people, and people with disabilities. Great place. Try the kettlebell classes!

I love the staff and community members theyve always been so kind to my family and I. One time I mistakenly joined a silver sneakers zumba class and I went to leave and most of the class over 60 years said oh no you have to stay now. It was great! I couldnt keep up at 30 lol

I only gave it a three star because they have sign up charts for machines, meaning you can only use them for 30 minutes during busy times which forces me to go during non busy times.

Pool is kept at a very warm temperature for seniors and infants. They do not take into consideration that the water is far too warm for safe lap swimming.

Pool is kept way to warm for lap swimming. After 16 laps I was sweating - yeah, SWEATING. Now I go to pool at Souderton high school to swim.
