When I first got connected with VIP it was through an email that was sent to my good friends (former) email (***** at vacationsbyvip . com) and redirected to Emily Fischer/Bertsch …….as Emily didn’t disclose that she didn’t know my friend or that my was no longer connected to the company and the email address I was trying to contact was no longer valid and being forwarded, I in good faith believed that Emily was a colleague working on behalf of my friend and pursued the conversation……..the initial email read: Hey beauty, We would like to go to this hotel all inclusive. December 16th to 23rd. 2 adults and 2 kids 5 & 7. We are flexible in dates. We would just like to go before Christmas. We would also consider Beach or Moon Palace. :) Thanks! Why would Emily continue a conversation with someone who she clearly had no connection to and lead them astray? Why would she not disclose that I sent this email in error and that my friend (see “Hey Beauty”) was no longer being contacted at this email? In any line of work, when sent an email by mistake a business first POINTS THAT OUT and then asks if the person emailing would still like to continue the booking process with your business. It would be like booking a hair appointment with your regular hair stylist only to be told she left but you have the option to book with a new person. Common courtesy. I feel completely taken advantage of and misguided. Plus, during the quoting process Emily never ONCE said that these funds were in USD and now I feel victimized and fearful that you are a fraud and using our credit card information elsewhere. Additionally I am stuck with either spending my work time trying to get a refund or stuck with these flights all together. In any dealings with a US company, when a price is given, either "USD" is beside the price or "all funds quoted in US Dollars" is somewhere in the email. While I feel like a complete idiot, I am not one and had this been ANYWHERE on the email I would have seen it as a red flag and immediately contacted my friend and said "why is your business charging me in US dollars?" After confronting Emily with the above she has continued to try and sway me in her direction to complete booking my trip and even told me that if I chose to book with another agency she "can guarantee that you won’t receive the special VIP perks that only VIP Vacations can offer to you and your family." Frankly, I dont want to perks that come along with someone responding to an email that was never meant for them and then continuing to do business under false pretenses.

We booked a family vacation to Punta Cana with 18 rooms booked. The whole scheduling process was a head ache. The girl in our group who was running it did more work than the travel agent. The day before we left, I noticed my son wasnt included on the transfer. When the agency got back to me i was informed that he was not included on the reservation either and that there was note one file that agent was supposed to get my sons information but never did. After such a booking head ache the travel agent assured us that we would be so happy when we got to the resort and we would be "taken care of." When we arrived at the air port in Punta Cana there was no record of our transfer. When we arrived at the resort there was no record of a "group booking." The woman in our group that ran the trip met with the manager of Paradisius, the resort we stayed at and they were so embarrassed and were opening up and investigation of travel impressions and VIP because it makes the resort look bad. We arrived on a saturday, the woman who ran our group emailed VIP letting them know that there was no record of a group and all of the problems and no one got back to her until Wednesday, when our vacation was already more than half way over. Dinner reservations were a pain to obtain at the resort and the resort told us "had your travel agent done their job all of your reservations could have been made 60 days prior to your trip" The icing on the cake was when I got home and received a post card from VIP welcoming me home from Riviera Cancun, which was a nice gesture except that I was in Punta Cana.... not cancun. Very unorganized, not friendly, and difficult to deal with. Will never use again. I posted this review on their face book page and they deleted it and blocked me from posting on their page any more. Shady business. Be aware, from one consumer to another.

VIP Vacation was absolutely amazing in helping us book our Honeymoon! Where do I start, it was so nice to have VIP to handle all the booking of everything since I usually coordinate all of travel arrangements on my own. Jennifer and Kellen were both VERY patient with me as I tried to figure out where we were going and asked all the other random questions I had! Huge shout out to Jennifer and Kellen and I want to THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all their hard work, patience, and help! Jennifer did not steer me wrong with our resort, El Dorado Maroma in Riviera Maya. We loved the resort! This is the first time weve done an all inclusive and now I understand why people love it so much. Its a whole week of a worry free vacation! Everything about the resort was beautiful, the room, the pool, the beach, the views! We arrived early on our first day, about 11:45am and they were able to check us in early, which was so nice that we didnt have to wait for a room to be ready. The room was perfect and we used all it had to offer, the jacuzzi and private pool on the balcony! Everyone that worked at the resort was so friendly and pleasant! They just couldnt do enough for you, setting us up on the beach with towels, chairs, and a cabana, making sure that we participated in activities, such as volleyball and kayaking. We had an amazing spa experience as part of our honeymoon package, which was exactly what we needed after the wedding! The food was also very good and once we found the restaurants we really enjoyed we stuck with them! We also met so many other nice couples that we spent some time with as well. Overall, this was a really great experience and would highly recommend working with VIP!

My husband and I booked our honeymoon through VIP and were beyond thrilled with the entire process. Emily Bertsch assisted us with every step and was so patient as we had to work with certain dates and tried to find the best deals. I was extremely impressed with the response time, professionalism, assistance, knowledge of every aspect of travel, and the overall kindness and generosity that was displayed. Emily made the entire process so easy and we felt so comfortable navigating our flights and transportation to Walt Disney World to Mexico and back home again, knowing that everything had been taken care of and outlined for us. I highly recommend working with VIP as you will not only be impressed with their services but you will truly be able to enjoy your destination as you will know that you and all of the little details have been well taken care of.
