The is a beautiful salon and the experience *was* great. They give a nice hand massage and head massage while shampooing and the salon is very clean and modern. But while my stylist was very friendly he failed to listen to a word of what I asked for. All I came in for was a trim and a reshape of my layers. I am getting married in 7 months and I am growing my hair out so my hair just needed to be refreshed. I came in with my shortest layer being about chin length and left with my shortest "layer" hitting my eyebrow, not to mention all the layers are very, very choppy. I didnt realize how bad it was till the wind blew all the styling out of my hair about an hour later and noticed how short the layers really were. The stylist apparently had something in mind he thought would look good instead of what I asked, he was also very busy letting me know he does wedding updos, no, thank you. Now I am stuck with hair that is too short to put behind my ears and is constantly falling into my eyes, that is unless I meticulously style it with literally a ton of hairspray. It is upsettingly unmanageable.

Moved here from AZ where I spent 7.5 years with the same stylist. Love(d) her! If your ever in Scottsdale/Arcadia, look up Jen Dew at Dylans Salon. But if youre here in Indy, I can now recommend (over 4 experiences) Emily at Evolve. I spent over a year looking for a good fit (mostly to cut my hair like a magician!) but also pleasant to be around. Im not a big fan of drama queens--male or female. Shes extremely nice, down to earth and about her business. And, its nice to have someone pamper you--love the shampoo experience! Not inexpensive (mens cut) for Indianapolis, but Emily is worth it! A week after my cut I will find myself still admiring her work.

I have been to many spas in the area and evolve is one of my favorite. They are unmatched in skin and waxing treatments and have some of the best techniques and equipment. I never had a good experience with hard wax until I came here. The esthetician was knowledgeable and friendly and answered all of my questions. They seem to run on time the few times that Ive been there which is always a very good thing. They have a beautiful cleans facility and everyone is happy and helpful.

Dani is wonderful! He really takes the time to listen and discuss what you want for your hair. I rarely like everything about a hair service, but twice now Ive loved everything -- the cut, the color, and how Dani styled my hair. Its clear hes an expert in his field and knows how to customize your cut and color to suit your unique hair. Ive been really happy and will definitely be back.

Allison(master Stylist) is a real professionist. she has style, education and experience to perform on the client an individual and excellent work.She also explain to me how to keep and "work" my hair at home! The salon is clean, fashion and really cool. The product used are really high quality. definitely I will come back there.

Great Location but poor customer service. I simply went into buy a gift certificate and waited forever for someone to come to the counter and the place wasnt even busy. After seeing how empty the place was and waiting forever, I decided against the gift certificate and went elsewhere. These people looked fresh out of school.

I was disappointed in the quality of service I received here. I thought since it was an Aveda salon, I would be getting a higher quality of service. I went in to get waxed an was disappointed with the outcome. As I was getting the service, the woman tried to talk me into a different service several times. I would not go back.

Ewww!...went to get a massage here and the creepy massage therapist had a cold. I couldnt relax because every time I did he would start hacking up a nasty loud flem filled cough. All I could think of was his germy hands on me. Very unprofessional. I would advise only requesting a woman for massage.

When I go for a haircut I am not treated like just one person in an assembly line of clients. You are given special time and never rushed. The stylist will talk at lenght with you about what you want or need. I have also had facials and massages there and its a very pleasant rewarding experience.

The only thing I have ever got done here is a Brazilian wax, which I was not very happy with. I get waxed all the time, and this took nearly twice as long as Im accustomed to and way more painful than usual. The girl just didnt seem to know what she was doing. Dont get waxed here!

Had a massage today, wasnt expecting a man, first time having a man... and unfortunately my facial expressions didnt hide my surprise. Let me tell you Patrick did an amazing job, and I am grateful for his handy work! I left feeling amazing and well relaxed! Thank you Patrick!

I recently had a Swedish Massage with Melody. She was very professional and provided a wonderful massage. It was my first service at Evolve and I will return! I also used their on-line appointment request and it was seamless! Great job!

Away from home, and hair needed done. Tried Evolve because it was close. My hair looks great. However, not cheap. Wash and blow dry was $35. I would return for special occasions, but wouldnt spend that money for a weekly do.

Went to Evolve last night for a haircut with Gwen (Sr. Stylist); shes fantastic! Love the haircut & ease of maintenance - she actually went through the styling procedure with me step by step. Highly recommend this salon.

I got my hair cut at Evolve today. I loved my stylist, Juanita, who is a senior stylist. She was really nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend going here.

They are decent but has increased their price on hair cut by 10 dollars within a year or so..not worth it going there..
