Bad business practiced- poor customer service. My 17 year old made an appointment for a prom hairdo. Was told it would be between $35-40. AFTER they do her hair, they tell her it will be $70! Then they claimed the person who told her 35-40 wasnt their regular receptionist and that they were already giving her a discount at $70!!! She didnt have $70. So they "excepted" $60 after trying to get her to call someone to come pay the rest. THEY SHOULD HAVE stuck to the price my daughter was told and handled the incorrect price quote with their employee, not make my daughter (the customer) pay for their mistake!!! They TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HER because she is young and too sweet to make a fight. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

The stylists do great work, but the owners treat their staff very poorly, putting themselves first at all costs. Their staff are underpaid and cheated. Mentally abusive actions are used in order to keep employees in their grasp. Any kindness given is taken advantage of immediately. The work environment is extremely toxic, and it hurts my heart to see these new hires so young and bright-eyed. They are hired because they lack experience and the ability to pick up on their unprofessional and unfair practices.

I am a long time customer of Salon 3 East and would not consider going anywhere else. Great service from everyone there, not just my stylist Dorothy. Dorothy is fabulous. She keeps up with the latest changes in the industry. She keeps my hair looking its best. Thank you!

I definitely recommend Salon 3 East in Malvern, PA. I had a wonderful experience. I have curly, frizzy hair and would load on products to try to tame it. I went in for the keratine protein treatment with JD Hall and love the way my hair feels now!

Ive been going to this salon since they opened, though have been a client of Dorothys for 20 years. I wouldnt imagine going anywhere else and love the staff. They treat their customers well and do great work.
