I last minute decided that I was desperate for a haircut. I work in Conshy, so I searched salons in Conshy and chose Salon & Spa By Kimberly Gider because of its internet presence and reviews. I got an 8pm appointment and was not 100% sure what I wanted. The receptionist put my stylist on the phone (Jessica) and she was very comforting/accommodating with what I was after for my haircut and possible color. I arrived and received the best scalp massage I have ever gotten in my whole life, not even expecting any extra services other than washing my hair. I felt completely relaxed and ready for my cut. Jessica was very nice and helpful when I was trying to decided what I wanted. She was honest and told me it would be alot of upkeep to color my hair the way I wanted to. She was not in it for the money and treated me as if she was making the decision for her own hair. Jessica has alot of experience, working at a salon since she was 14 years old and could have probably cut my hair with her eyes closed (it seemed). She has awesome technique from the initial cut and layering, to the blow drying process. I am absolutely satisfied with the results and my overall experience there!

First let me preface that I have been getting waxed (brows, lip & Brazilian) for over 11 years....I had been going to a place in Buck County for 10 of those years. It wasnt until I moved locally that I reluctantly had to change. I say reluctantly bc to me a Brazilian wax is very personal...After meeting Kim Gider I felt more at ease, she made me feel like I have known her all my life. THANK GOODNESS I changed places. Little to my knowledge the old place I went to was double-dipping with customers(EW!), lets just say that had caused a medical skin issue that I wasnt even aware of. After seeing Kim for the first time, she suggested I seek medical attention to get it taken care of!!! She also advised me that even if I didnt continue to see her, that I just NEVER went back to my old place....I did go to my doctor & he agreed with Kims assessment after a couple quick tests!! Who knew? I will never again go to anyone else besides Kim!!! I will follow her where ever she goes!!! LOVE HER!!!

I came here after buying a deal on living social and seeing that Kim got voted best brazilian wax. I used to get brazilian waxes a few times each summer, but stopped when I was sick of paying for "brazilian" waxes when noone really ever gave me a true brazilian. I finally decided to try waxing again today before vacation after an almost 4 year hiatus. It was very painful (not sure why this is shocking to anyone), but Kim worked quickly and did everything she could do to talk me through the pain. If you can get past the pain involved, the results were AMAZING, my first TRUE brazilian. Best brazilian Ive ever gotten, by leaps and bounds. Im so happy I found her at the beginning of swim suit season! Other pluses is she uses higher quality antibacterial wax and doesnt double dip.

Worst experience ever. I did facial wax a month before my marriage. Kim did it for me and she tore off 30% of my facial skin near mouth, jaws and chin though i instructed her that my skin is sensitive before the session. She did not care about my instructions or my face and did it in the same harsh way like how it is done for arms and legs. I couldnt come out of my home with burnt face for 3 days and had to apply lot of foundation to cover up my face for a week until all the bruises were gone. its been 2 months and still there are dark spots on the burnt area. I wanted to go back to the salon and show my face to her but with all the marriage work going on, i couldnt. I have taken pictures to show her if i go near the salon again.

I have been going to Kim for about 1 1/2years now for a Brazillian. I had to cheat on her 2 times and never again will I stray! Kim is fun, makes you feel comfortable and is very understanding. I have tried othe place before her and never got what I wanted. I got into "Kims Office" and said I want to look like a porn star and that is what she did. Exactly what I requested....Other places I have tried used the same stick on you and then kept dipping into the wax that they use on other people. Kim NEVER DOUBLE DIPS....I have never been burned or bruised. Another great thing is Kim is QUICK! I want to get that done and over with and she does just that! I wish I could give her 100 stars!!!! LOVE HER!

I enjoy going to Better Health for their pedicures. The hot stone massage that comes with it is great. However, they recently bumped up the prices and I am not very happy about that. For the price of one pedicure I could go get a mani and pedi somewhere else. I will continue to go there for a treat (vacations, weddings...) but I cannot afford to go often and be able pay their prices and tip the employees.

Kim Gider gives an AMAZING Brazilian wax. I first went to her 3-4 weeks on the recommendation of a close friend. Kim was quick and efficient and I was very pleased with the results. Shes a doll and makes getting a Brazilian fun. I called last minute to get an appointment, she was totally booked but still put me in as one of the last appointments of the day. Love her!

Came here for my beauty day for my upcoming wedding - waxing, peels, spray tan. Kimberley was so attentive and made me feel like a princesss. She worked around my schedule to make sure I was getting all the treatments and strategically schedule them for different times of the day to accommodate me. I couldnt ask for a better experience, especially at that price point.

I just moved here and randomly picked a salon close to me. They were able to take me right away on a Saturday morning, and the stylist (I think val?) got me in the chair right away. The head massages were AMAZING and the shampoo and conditioner they used smelled soooo good. I had a trim and a blowout and it was perfectly styled. Highly recommend!

I was at Better Health to see Kim Gider for my first facial and wax, it was the best experience as far as being comfortable, relaxed, and my face never looked better. I was so scared to get my first wax but Kim talked me through each pull and got me through it. My new favorite place is Better Health and only with Kim Gider.

Best waxing service Ive had in years! I travel full time all over the country and believe me I have had many bikini waxes at many spas. Kim had the best technique with the least amount of pain, she was very quick and made me feel extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend Kim!

I had been going to Kim to get eyebrows waxed and he did a great job. However, I walked in today and it was someone else there which threw me off guard. She spilled wax on my face and eyelashes. And when I got home my eyebrows did not look good. Be cautious of who is doing your waxing
