IRRESPONSIBLE OWNER The owner has recently hired a new assistant who failed to brush my wrapped weave out upon starting my wash. She also proceeded to wash the weave as if it were my own hair (roughly massaging with fingers). This resulted in a huge dread and the weave had to be cut out even though the sew-in was only two weeks old. The owner refused to hold the assistant liable and told me the issue had to be resolved between myself and the stylist (who didnt even know the assistant was out of training). Long story short I had to spend an additional $130 after spending a total of $270 just two weeks prior.This ordeal has cost me money and time and it is clearly evident that the owner could care less about customers who are not her own clients. It is bad enough that it takes hours before you can get into the chair in order to get service, now they want you to waste your money too.

A LIFE/HAIR Saver!!! Ive drove past The Beauty Studio 1000 times on my way home and always wanted to go inside. But when I heard their ad on Power 99 today I decided to make an appointment. I just got done and I LOVE IT! My appointment was with Avagaye, but I got there 40 mins early and she still had a client in her chair. I got there early because I was trying to get to the dentist before he closed. When I told the assistant Jewel about my time crunch she asked the owner if she would take care of me because she just finished her client. Without taking a break the owner got me in her chair and I made my dentist appointment in time. Im so happy with the service and because of the service they offered me, I had a great day! I have definitely found my new spot! Thanks Ladies!

Ive passed by this studio billions of times. I use to go there when it was under Aginas Hair Salon. I was in the Mall and saw a nice pixie cut on a young lady and complimented her, she said she goes to the Beauty Studio and Ava-Gay is her stylist. It took me two weeks to get there, but I stopped in and low and behold I ran into my old hair dresser from YEARS ago Crystal! Well I was really torn then, cause Crystal is the BOMB! However, it worked itself out, cause when I called last minute to get a new look for my B-day, Crystal was not avail at the time I could get there, so I had to go with Ava-Gay and I am truly satisified. Depending on what youre getting determines your time there, minimum three hours.

I went to this salon a few times and never had a problem until recently. Right after leaving my last appointment at the Beauty Studio I had an intense burning sensation all over my scalp. I ended up having to go to the ER later that day bc large clumps of my hair began falling out and the pain was excruciating. I contacted the salon the following day - and as I found out the salon somehow mixed up an industrial floor cleaning solvent with conditioner on my hair. I spoke to the ownerNaneke who seemed as though she couldnt care any less. I truly hope this horrible business gets shut down

Went to the Beauty Studio once and had a great experience. I made a second appointment with the same stylist when it was time to recolor, and was instead sent to an assistant, who kept dripping color on my hands, clothes, face, and neck. The color caused my skin to break out into an itchy rash, because she didnt wipe it off quickly enough. The water from the shampoo was streaming down my neck, getting on my clothes. Turned out that she didnt apply the color correctly. I was there for three hours while she re-applied/"fixed" the mistakes. I will never go back again. Ever.

I will agree, the majority of the stylists are great! However, because most of my time is sitting & waiting I observe. The wait time is just insane. It shouldnt take 4-6 hours (or longer) to get your hair done. And, while they do great hair, some of the stylists are very unprofessional; they are talking of the phone, eating, talking to their friends, etc. Just really unprofessional, in my opinion. The owner needs to really change her business practices, because one will only put up with this for so long!

Ive been going to The Beauty Studio for about one year now and I can say that I am completely satisfied with my hair each time I visit. My stylist is Ava-Gaye and she is a good stylist who listens to what you want for your hair and is also very talented. The other members of the shop are very curteous and friendly and I love the decor of the shop. Timing has never really been an issue for me however expect to be in the shop for a minimum of three hours. Great place to get beautified!

Trusted that because the women who did my hair said she had been boing hair for 20 somthing years i would be ok ,boy was I wrong. I thought that my hair cute &style (due to her going cut crazy) be out dated was the worst of my worries but later in the week I relized my hair cut was uneven an I had sores all though my head Ive been wearing my hair short for years an have never had a problem like this. I expected more since the owner comes so hightly recommended

When booking my appt, I made the receptionist aware that I do not want to spend my entire day inside the salon. She reassured me that the service is quick and professional. Well, I am in love with The Beauty Studio!!!! Fast service, stylist are very professional, clean and organized. My stylist Sade was on point!!! Very polite and asked me questions about my hair and also provided me with tips on how to maintain my hair. Thanks, Sade . See you in two weeks

I went to The Beauty Studio, and let me tell you, my stylist India, she knew exactly how to take care of my hair! I was worried about getting a weave, because Ive never had one before, but India took such good care of me, and my natural hair looks and feels so healty! No damage done! Im going back for the brazilian keritan treatment!!! :-) I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to look and feel fabulous! Ask for India!

Going to the Beauty Studio was such a beautiful idea. My stylist Jazrael was so amazing and highly talented. She made me a very happy customer and with that i will be returning very soon. The shop is setup beautifully and all work spaces were neat and clean. If you go to the beauty studio try Jaz out she is great. She also have a cool instagram page with her work on it her name is @JAZRAEL ELLISON... She is awesome

I love my hair! The Beauty Studio has been a blessing to me especially the stylist Naneke and Ava-Gay. My hair is silky smooth when I leave and styled to perfection.
