Called Monday, 4/25 to schedule an estimate. Spoke to Amy. Very pleasant phone voice, said she may be able to have someone out that day. Not sure what time and would call an hour before. Never heard from her. Called around 3pm after staying in the area all day awaiting the phone call. Was advised it wouldnt be today but tomorrow and would call in the morning. Not wanting to waste another day sitting around, I called around 9:45am and Amy advised someone would be out and would call back in an hour with a time. No call. Stayed in the area until 2pm this time. I called Amy to remind her of our conversation 5 hours prior and got a little attitude like it was my fault and offered to schedule an appointment which is what she should have done in the first place. I guess GAK doesnt want my money as I have received no calls to resolve the matter. All this just get an appointment, I can only imagine what I would go through on the actual project. Off to update Angies List.

I would never hire this company. Im neighbors with one of these guys, Borzio and hes a rude POS! My puppy fell into his pool which has neither a fence around nor a safety cover. I heard the puppy crying so went over thinking no one was there since Id been calling the puppy and no one had said anything. When I saw the puppy he was drowning, Borzio was standing there just watching. After I pulled the puppy out, introduced myself and apologized for the intrusion, Borzio looked at me and said nothing other than "your other one is over there". I took both dogs and apologized once again and introduced myself. I asked if there was any damage (although out wad readily obvious there was no damage) and waited for his response. He dismissively told me "you can leave". 20 minutes later the police were at my door. I would never hire this SOB. My dogs around never have been on his property but his reaction speaks volumes about the kind of person he is.

I recently had my roof redone by GAK. The roofing job was completed on time and on budget. They were very professional and buttoned up. They were also very responsive did everything they said they would. So everything was outstanding. They were quick, responsive, and professional. From the very beginning they were impressive to me. Gary and Michael came out to provide the estimate and were thorough and answered all of my questions. As the project commenced, we had initially went with another roofer. This was a disaster because the other person before GAK, despite tons of references, was not professional. He delayed the job for 2 months. We terminated that relationship and went to Gary and his crew. They handled everything very well and exactly when they said it would be done. We couldnt be more pleased. Highly recommended.

We just wanted to say how satisfied we were with GAK Construction. This past summer we had GAK Construction come out to build a new back deck. Their responsiveness to give us an estimate (and ideas, too) was fantastic. Michael was a pleasure to work with. Construction started on time and the team they sent (Dave and Earl) were hard working, efficient and professional. Upon completion of the deck, we noticed our daughter was able to figure out the lock on the gate. Michael sent out a crew to install a new lock (which she cant open now!) . Over the years GAK has been involved in many of our business projects. From simple roofing jobs to our complete renovation of Skylanes Bowling and Peppes in East Stroudsburg. No matter what the job Mike and Angelo are always right there making sure things get done right and always quick with an answer to any questions or concerns. Jobs are always done on time or sooner and the budget is always in line. At the Bistro especially we had an almost impossible time frame, but from demolition, to reconstruction, to the final finish, they got it done and we now get nothing but compliments. They always treat me right and any more than that is not an easy thing to find in a contractor.

Great company to deal with. The sales man for the estimate was informative and very helpful when I needed a new roof on my house. I am a single woman and he really helped me to understand the procedure and estimate. The crew was very professional. It only took 2 days to do the work and I have a huge roof. The yard was left spotless, not one nail or shingle was left laying out. The even cleaned my deck afterwards. The owner came out after the job was done to check the roof after the completion. I am very impressed and plan on using them for future work on my home. The whole job really turned out excellent.

Angelo and the guys really helped me with my house. I bought a foreclosure in Saylorsburg that needed a lot of work. I had GAK remodel the bathroom and redo the old rotted out deck. These were things I wasnt going to do on my own. I got the estimate and the work was done fast. They sent a crew after getting the permits and completed most of the work within a few days. Im really happy with the results and the price was fair, especially for the quality of work I received. I did a lot of work on this house on my own but it was definitely a good decision to hire GAK for these projects.

Ive been a painter for over 30 years now so I work on a lot of homes. I know a few people who have used GAK, so Ive seen their work up close. Ive noticed the quality they puts into their home improvement projects for their customers. Ive done a few jobs where Im painting recent renovations now for things like color changes. It makes my life easier not having to sand and fix the walls because theyre straight. I stay in business because of quality, so I appreciate other companies that do the same for our common customers. It really helps all of us.

My wife and I would like to say thank you for your work on our home in Bushkill. We absolutely love the new energy efficient windows, door and skylights. We have seen an enormous difference in the drafts we used to get. The past several years I have constantly had the thermostat at 75 degrees just to keep us somewhat comfortable. The past several weeks with temperatures dropping below 25 I have not had to touch the thermostat which has been set at 65. For me thats great news. Again thank you for the fine job.

This company may do good work, but I never got a chance to find out. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate and then needed to change the time by 1.5hrs, I called them and left a msg. I also sent 2 emails to Mike the person that was supposed to come out. I never got a response. When I called back, they said they got the msg and that Mike was busy. They never apologized or even offered to reschedule the appointment. A business is not only judge by the work they provide, but also by their customer service.
