I have worked with a lot of crews over the years and this is by far the worst I have ever worked with. Be aware when you have them pick up items for the project from Home Depot or Lowes that their crew will charge personal items to you- thats fraud and I caught six items. They will also charge new tools for the job to you- you should never be paying for the tools- that is the job of the contractor. They know both of these practices are happening as well- the son of the owner is the one who told me to double check the receipts because this frequently happens to other customers. The work is absolutely sub-standard- our tile work was crooked and the grout completely messed up. They had to come back and remove all the tile and start over. The second attempt is only slightly better than the first. At least I dont have cracked, crooked, uneven tiles anymore- but the job is still not right- the grout is completely uneven and cracking everywhere after less than a year. The owner actually laughed when he saw the tile job and said he has seen a lot better jobs than that. They installed plumbing in three rooms, all of it leaked. We are talking standard plumbing too- drain traps and the like. Nothing hard. In the kitchen, the disposal actually fell off of the sink. The pergo floor they installed was not installed correctly- in less than a year there are big gaps throughout the floor. The quarter round they installed throughout was wavy and not installed correctly and they nailed through our pocket door so it wouldnt open anymore. They say they are a professional crew?!? Additionally, they say their specialty is painting- dont believe it. The night before I was going to visit and check on the work, I received a call that I shouldnt be concerned about "the drips and brush marks youll see on your cabinets." In some instances the drips were over six inches long, some doors were brushed, some were rolled and all had fingerprints on them. They had to paint and strip my cabinets three times over and the job still looked terrible. The final finish on the doors was flat and the cabinets were semi-gloss. Not hard to figure out that they dont match. When they came to fix them, they rolled the doors with a foam roller and didnt take the hardware off, so the hardware is now painted over and only the flat parts of the doors match the cabinets. The inset portions still dont match. They also advertise non-smoking crews, but my yard was strewn with cigarette butts (no one in my house smokes and no neighbors either) AND they helped themselves to the food in our pantry and drank soda and beers from the refrigerator. Site cleanup consisted of using our kitchen towels to clean their oil brushes, paint fingerprints on all the doors and hardware and spilled construction materials all over the driveway. Try to call Dennis Jr. (son of the owner) and you will get his voicemail every time- he wont call back either- he will have one of his crew call you instead. Nothing like talking to someone who cant make decisions. My suggestion is to call anyone else that you can to have work done at your home or business. UPDATE to review: The review by David states that I might have the wrong place in mind or am a disgruntled employee. Wrong on both counts. I was a customer and I have the right place. David sounds an awful lot like their foreman that I worked with through the two months of them trying to fix everything they did wrong.

Braendel is just below average work. Theyre over priced because Denny has to pay for his stupid commercials. I dont mind paying top dollar if its good work, but it wasnt even worth half that. Never going back to them again. They say if they screw something up they will come back and fix it for free. Well they didnt honor that at all and wouldnt do a thing and wanted more money. What a terrible company. I went to another local guy and had a much better experience. Even the people who work for Braendel dont think his prices are worth it after talking to a few of their employees. Now that is saying something. He also pays over time tax free to the employees, which is illegal and screws the employees because its not taxable income which effects their SSI in the future. Surprised no one has reported him to the IRS. This guy is just an all around bad idea. It blows my mind how hes still in business. 0/10 never again.

My parents were selling there home and had braendel do some painting for them as well as some plaster work. They felt plaster all over the upstairs bathroom. They only painted the inside of one upstairs bedroom closet out of two. In the one upstairs bedroom the painting was also spotty. Downstairs they never fully secured the light fixture so in the middle of the night it fell and shattered all over the floor. Told my parents to complain they chose not to. They simply said Braendel wasnt worth the money and they would never use them again. Sloppy and shameful. Beware!

Braendel just completed painting my house and trim work and to say I am ecstatic over the job they did is an understatement! Besides being friendly and professional, they took special care of the plants around my house, didnt leave paint chips on the ground from scraping and completed the job one day ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this company and take my word on it - I dont give recommendations lightly.

Excellent service. I was totally impressed and 100% satisfied with the service I received from Braendel Painting. They gave me an estimate up front, they finished the job on time and on budget. Mr. Braendel inspected the work twice during the project. It was a level of service that I have never received before from any contractor. I highly recommend them.

I had my roof replaced, the exterior painted and a few other items done by Braendel. Dennis came and gave me an estimate and ended up scheduling the work very quickly since my house is for sale. There were no issues and Im very happy with the completed work.
