I signed up for the Hot Lava Unlimited plan at $40 a month.So far, Im impressed. The free vacuum is a nice bonus as most car washes do a terrible job at vacuuming. The employees are young teenagers and I applaud the manager for giving them the opportunity to earn money honestly instead of just hanging out. All that employees I engaged with were nice. No grumpy old man in sight as reported before. The actual wash is not bad at all. The dryer seems to be on par with every other standard car wash dryer Ive ever been to. Its not perfect, but it does what it needs to do and the young adolescents finish the towel dry which I had no issue with either. Please tip these individuals just as a way of saying thank you for keeping out of trouble. The tire shine is my only disappointment. I doesnt present that real "wet" look that Im used. Its just OK. However, whoever did my rear tires was real skimpy applying it and only the front tires looked like anything was applied. So if youre gonna get the tire shine and or rim cleaner, just double check them before you leave. Other than that, this is the best car wash in the area.

Ive been a monthly member for nearly 2 years and I have NEVER had a bad experience. Neither have any of my friends. The staff has always been very friendly, and some have even come to recognize me and give me more than a general friendly "hello" when they see me. Only a few moments ago, a friend called to say that he went through the car wash twice right before closing because his car was so dirty. He didnt indicate that he had any issues with the staff for doing so. Years ago, before becoming a member, the teenage staff noticed that my car didnt get completely clean the first time and THEY asked me to run it through a second time, for free. I did. If youre reading the negative reviews, I dont know what transpired on their visits, but please believe that the staff and owner are VERY nice. One gentleman even sings the Eric Clapton song to me when he pulls up my account and sees my name. It makes me laugh every time. You cant go wrong being a monthly member of Clean Machine.

I wish no stars was an option! Ignorance doesnt even come close to describing the attitude of the man in charge at this place! I ordered a groupon and called to schedule an appointment at the glenside location (called the number on the groupon which put me through to the glenside location), went in to take my car for detailing and they had nothing scheduled. Then tried to call the Fort Washington location where they said my appointment was possibly scheduled at and it still put me through to Glenside, where the same guy in charge proceeded to yell at me over the phone and tell me how wrong I was, when all he had to do was give me the Fort Washington location number. I refunded my groupon and will spend my money on a place that will appreciate my business instead. It astounds me that this place is even "so booked up they cant get me in for a month" (as the pompous manager said)

Clean machine May 1st someones car came off the track they stopped the tracks stop the water the machines kept grinding hitting my door then they cut the water off and the Machine still running and hitting my door causing damages to my door was preceded out the car wash how many applied to your comment I talk to your manager the guy with the grey hair the older man he took my information and he said he will look into it and I made a police report that day so every time I came to get my carwash I asked him what hes going to do about my truck and yes youre right I did come to your car wash after the incident thanking you guys is going to take care of it dont get me wrong the car wash is nice but everybody makes mistakes and I havent been this since June because you guys kept ignoring the incidents since then

I was getting ready to sell my car and went to Clean Machine to get my car washed. It had been sitting for a while and had collected a fair amount of bird droppings. The car went through but when we got to the towel down, I mentioned to one of the wipers that there was still "stuff" from the birds on my window. He wiped it off. BUT when I got home, the roof of the car was still covered!! So I went back up and the owner noticed that I was in line again and approached my car. He presented himself with some arrogance on why was I there again and I told him to check out my roof. He took a look and then begrudgingly told me to go through again. One of the workers "scrubbed" my roof with a broom like thing quickly. BUT when I got home, the roof of the car is still covered. WILL NOT BE RETURNING AGAIN!!!

Go somewhere else. I hate to give a poor review because the younger people who work there who actually do the pre wash and dry off are great at their jobs. Its the old man that has horrible customer service. Not only does he yell and motion to you like you are some caged animal to move forward and place your car in Neutral..He has an attitude when you bring up an issue. I can see why people have had just bad reviews. I do not understand how he is still working there. If he is the owner he needs to pass the buck and find a new profession. I have been going there for months and when I bring up an issue/concern with a payment for the first time, he gets real nasty. I am cancelling my service all together and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I will never go back again...they just lost a regular customer. I purchased a groupon deal for 4 ultimate washes. I went to use my 2nd of 4 today. It turns out that I was supposed to get a punch card my 1st time but their employee never gave me one. I explained this to the employee at the cash register and he said ok and gave me a punch card today. I proceed through the carwash and as my car is being dried off, some manager comes out and accuses me of lying. He literally was arguing w me and saying he has never had a groupon issue before me. Not only was I outraged at being called a liar, but had to calm down my 6 yr old daughter who was upset at the man who was yelling at me. Take a course on customer service!

Dont Waste you Money! Not only didnt they do a good job on my car detail, but the owner and the man who performed the detail were so Nasty and Rude to me I would NEVER return. I have never been treated so horribly by an establishment in my life. They yelled at me and argued with me over the job that they didnt perform well. Their detail man, Dwaye, self proclaimed as "the best in the area" claims he didnt know the back seat had a cup holder that pulled down. Really? and hes been detailing cars for 25 years and yet that feature on my 2008 Ford was news to him. I left this place frustrated and in tears. If they had 0 stars thats what I would rate it. It doesnt deserve 1 star.
