Weve been trying to open our pool for the first time at our new home. There wasnt any power to the electrical box, and we had 2 other companies (that our home warranty company sent) out to look at it. They couldnt really figure out the problem and claimed wed have to dig up wires, etc. which wasnt covered by home warranty, then they gave us a crazy quote. We took action ourselves and hired Lowery Services after seeing all the great reviews. Mike came out the same day, found the problem quickly and fixed it. He seemed much more confident and experienced than the other guys. The wire was broken where it came in the box, not as big of a deal as the other companies led us to believe. He also told me a lot of safety information, plus answered my questions and gave me a quote for future electrical work we are planning. I also appreciated they have a set pricing guide so you know youre not getting taken advantage of. Very friendly, personable and professional. I would definitely recommend.

Two thumbs down for Lowry Services. Mike C. came out to evaluate my home for a new central air-conditioning installation. Lowry was one of three local companies I invited to prepare proposals. He did not look around my home or take measurements like the other two vendors did. He told me he would have a proposal out to me in one week. The week came and went with no word from Mike. I tried to contact him. I never did hear back from him or anyone else. I hope that he’s okay. Meanwhile my project was delayed by nearly 2 weeks by the time I gave up on Lowry and had someone else bid on the job. Word on the street is that there pricing is notoriously high. The folks I talked with believe that when I told them they were one of three bidding on the job they didn’t bother preparing a bid because they knew it would be high. In any case the neighborly thing to do when local people are trying to patronize your business is to tell them you’re not interested.

Dan Ulmer performed a System tune up on my Oil heater and Heat pump. I want to thank him and Lowry’s for an excellent service experience. Dans expertise shined and I was very satisfied with his work also his attention to detail while performing his work on my system. I had a new dual system put in back in 2015 a New Carrier Heat pump and Oil furnace were installed. The new dual system allows me to utilize both systems and obtain a great cost effect design for heating and cooling. It allows using the electric heat in the warmer months and the Oil fired heater in the colder months, AC in the Summer. Although the visit for the service seems somewhat pricey, Dan’s hard work and due diligence lessened the financial pain. I do understand it costs to keep well trained Techs. Like Dan at your company. If you have an employee of the month please place Dan Ulmer at the TOP of your list. I will be requesting Dan for future equipment service tune-ups.

I had several plumbers provide quotes for installing a bathtub. The technician was polite & friendly but the quote I got was extremely high. Local plumbers quotes ranged $850-950. Lowry quoted $3,200 which included a 25% discount. This job is less than a full day and materials cost is minimal. Im not sure why they can justify 3x the going rate. While on the visit they also quoted a gas line. Again, Lowry was 2x higher the other plumbers. The local plumbers didnt charge for their quotes while Lowry charges $49 for a visit. I was ready to give 1-Star however I called customer service to complain about the quote and they are mailing a check for the $49. Im debating whether I want to use them for HVAC tune-ups since Im skeptical about pricing if I need work done. I hope Lowry revises their pricing model. They use a pricing book with predetermined rates, so I dont know the tech had any control over the quote.

They cleaned my drain but did not re-assemble the kitchen drain properly. There was water and ground food from the disposal everywhere. I called them and Shawn from Lowry Services called me back and tried to charge me to come back out and re-assemble it the right way and to replace the missing part. After hanging up on Shawn and his superior attitude, I called an actual plumber. I sent the plumber a photo of the drain pipes. He talked me through it and after I dropped about $1.59 at Lowes for a part...I fixed it myself in about 15 minutes. Lowry Services was absolutely useless after the sale. I never asked for them to clean the huge mess that was made or to dry out the exterior wall and cabinets; I just asked them to do the job they were paid to do in a reasonable time-frame. If your first instinct in business is to make excuses and accusations when faced with very simple short-comings then youre doing it wrong.

I had an air conditioning problem, and we contacted your company for help today, for service to my AC. I want to send you a sound thank you for the service I received from your Technician "Mike", who helped us out so much, even though I was a little hard on him, Mike was a true professional, in everything he did for us an needs to be recognized for his outstanding workmanship an educating us on our resolutions, for our problem. Mike went above and beyond the call of duty for us, true professional, with a great personality. Again, he should be rewarded in some capacity because of the way I was with him at first, and for him to remain a true professional is a reflection of your Company. Thank You again for your service, I will recommend your outfit in the future to all persons I know in need of HVAC repairs. I have already put in positive feedback to BBB an Office of Consumer Affairs.

I called Lowry and explained that I was having trouble with breaker tripping on my water heater. They sent out an electrician who told me that I had power coming to the heater - which I already knew, but at least this was done without the usual $49 service charge. They then sent out a plumber who charged me $199 for a diagnostic. In about 15 minutes he told me that the heating elements were gone and it would cost over $500 to replace them. I asked how much to replace the entire tank and was informed that it would be $2,500 installed. All I want is a basic model water heater but they could offer no alternatives to this (presumably gold plated) model. I called Lowes and Home Depot, both of whom can replace the heater for less than $800. Lowrys prices are absolutely preposterous and I feel ripped off regarding the $199 diagnostic. I will never call them again.

Teresa actually called me back after getting a message from me while doing Happy Calls. She was so glad that Id called because shed had such a smooth and outstanding experience, she wanted to tell us about it. She made sure to mention that she works a job, where not being there is not okay. I guess she was anxious that we wouldnt arrive in time for her to get to work at the necessary time. Everything went perfectly. She said Jesus was wonderful & he didnt mind her standing there with him the whole time. He took the time to explain exactly what happened, how things work and how hew was going to proceed. She appreciated his time. She said that he gave her a price up front, just like the advertisement. The job was completed quick and clean. She cant say enough good things about her service call.
