Good to know up front: $150/hour as of 07/01/2017 Positive: - showed up as scheduled - fixed the issue - sounded nice on the phone Neutral: - not impressed. I have worked with more professional electricians in the past, and at half the rate. Negatives: - fell into the "typical contractor" category spending more time and effort in how to get the most money from a job than the work. - never got an invoice for the work. I stopped asking after a few requests were made and weeks passed. - after a job finishes, expect calls to go to a voicemail system that has not yet been set up. - trash and debris left behind. Background: Gala was right around the corner. Phone estimate was competitive. Upon arriving he stated he would charge by the hour, not the job. While I was trying to build a relationship and go with the flow, I never dreamed he would be charging $150/hour. Felt beat over the head with the bill. Paid in full on the spot - and no invoice. I asked for an invoice on a few occasions, getting the yes sure I will drop it off and nothing weeks later. Once and done. Lesson learned, and back to my old ways of getting tight estimates in advance and asking questions that contractors dislike.

What a poor experience... We hired them to install a number of grounded outlets, a dedicated breaker switch for a new tv, and 3 new ceiling fans. Within a year and a half of having the work done, Ive had to address faulty wiring on 2 ceiling fans and the work they did on the new tv blew the power in the whole wall resulting in a repair of over $300 (All Star Electric was 100x better.) When I called to ask John to come back and address the most recent issue, he told me to email him. I did so twice and never heard back. I would never hire these guys again, for anything. Incredibly disappointed.

These guys really pulled through in a clutch for me. Had a ballast in one of my lighting units that was smoking on a Sunday morning. Called Galle (got the owner on the first ring) and 20 minutes later, their man was up on a ladder replacing it. He probably saved my building. Courteous and professional. Id recommend them to anyone for commercial or residential.

Excellent & prompt service. Had a 200 amp service installed including the outside line and a grounding wire. Very happy with the price and the quality of the job.
