Mark came to our home to solve lighting problems. A fixture was removed from the breakfast room and replaced with overhead lighting. Mark pointed out that what I suggested might be a bit too much for the space. His suggestion was correct. We changed bulbs in the kitchen to match what was used int the breakfast room ceiling and now there is a pleasant wash of light . His knowledge if from years of experience and he cared that we got the correct result and that I was satisfied. Mark installed replacement smoke detectors on the second floor, repaired outlets and installed overhead lighting. You would never know that plaster was cut. The job was clean and all trash removed. Mark was a pleasure to work with and he listened to my concerns and helped us get the result we wanted and needed. What a gentleman. Martella electric is wonderful to work with. We will use them again.

I used Martella Electric to install a ceiling fan in a 20 ft high great room. Calling and making the appointment was extremely easy, and Kathy couldnt have been more helpful. John and his partner showed up on time to do the job and were both knowledgeable and courteous. As they were assembling the fan, they noticed that I didnt have the correct downrod for the installation, so they had to reschedule the work because of my mistake; however, they were so nice that they were willing to waive the fee for showing up. After I ordered the correct part, they returned and did a great job installing the fan and its wall mounted remote. They did so in a timely fashion, and even vaccuumed the work area afterwards and offered to dispose of the boxes. I wont hesitate to use Martella again in the future for any electrical needs that I cant complete myself. Five stars.

I am very pleased that I called Martella Electric. When Andrew came to my home to assess the work I needed done he was very courteous and very, very informative. He went through each step of the assessment with me and explained why it was necessary. After speaking with him I ended up having more done than I originally planned since I was now a much more informed customer. John and James came to my home to perform the necessary work and I could not have been more pleased. The wore booties on their shoes, cleaned up, were very polite and knowledgeable. They were even very careful when coming in and going out so as not to let the cat out. From the guy that answered the phone to the technicians to the Owner....Thank you for a job well done.

I recently bought a fixer-upper home and needed to replace/repair a few lights, outlets and switches as well as go over my wiring to make sure it was safe. Mark did an outstanding job identifying and solving problems as well as answering my questions. The prices were very reasonable and it was great knowing them up front. Called Martella, and they sched for Sat. between 8-10am. John Decenzo arrived at 8am. Friendly guy, I explained what I needed done. He priced the work before starting. He explained everything as he worked, so I understood what he was doing. He completed the jobs quickly and efficiently. Made recommendations which were very helpful. Relaxed working atmosphere. Neither of us felt rushed. I told him of some work that I thought of while he was there. No problem. Rates were very reasonable. Martella on speed dial.

Andrew Jr. and Jeff came out one day to assess my condo for the installation of two ceiling fans. They gave a very detailed explanation of what would be done and gave solid quote for the job (i.e., not based on hours). They came back very promptly another day and performed the work flawlessly and exactly as they said they would. They were very conscious of cleanliness and left the condo even cleaner than it was before! All along Andrew and Jeff were courteous and professional.

Mark is competent, polite, and helpful. He diagnosed my problem quickly and explained the problem so I could understand it. He made useful immediate and long-term recommendations. We had a couple of dead outlets and though we could see that the circuit was tripped, we couldnt get it go back. The young man who came to our home was thorough and professional, was good with the pets, and fixed the problem for a reasonable fee while also doing a safety evaluation. I have contacted them 2 times for a quote on residential electrical work. Most recently, Of the 3 electricians that came out Martella was about 100% (highest quote the last time too). They were prompt, courteous, but not worth paying double. I hired someone else for $700 less and the work is done perfectly.
