I have just moved into a new apartment building (Crossing at Stanbridge) and needed some work done. I spoke with my property manager about what I wanted and she suggested Wes Carver based on word of mouth. I made an appointment for the electrician to come out and survey so they could run the network cabling. I called @11:00 the day of the appointment to confirm and was told by the front office that she had me down for 1:00 instead of 11:00 like I thought. She was right, I said thank you and went on with my unpacking. It should be noted at this time that looking out of my kitchen window, I can see the Wes Carver parking lot, and they can clearly see my building. Only a small chain link fence separates their parking lot from mine, so I didnt think there would be an issue with them knowing where I was. I get a voice mail at 1:00 from the office person that basically says We dont work on those types of buildings. I called bewildered (and yes, a little p*ssed off) to ask for an explanation. Apparently, they dont want to work in a building this old, and sorry for the annoyance. I called Wes Carver based on word of mouth that they do good work. I cant confirm that since they were not up to the challenge I was offering. I cannot recommend Wes Carver electric based on their failure to communicate clearly and the cavalier attitude for customer service.

I wanted to have some lighting done in my home. I had Kyle out to explain to him what I was looking for in some lighting solutions for my dining room, living room, bedrooms, and for some artwork. Kyle took the time to make room by room recommendations. I spoke with Mike about doing these projects in stages to make it cash flow for me. They were very willing to work with me and were terrific to work through each and every phase. I wanted to do this review for them! I was not asked to "help" them. I make this clear because I know how these reviews can go. Im not related and we were not "friends". I am just a very happy customer who wanted to help the next person in my shoes starting to look for and wanting to trust a reliable contractor and allowing them into our homes. I recommend Wes Carver Electric to everyone who reads this.

Recently we called Wes Carver Electric to convert our oven hookup from direct wired to an outlet, bringing it up to code, which was necessary for replacing my oven. The electrician sent was named Kyle. Kyle was courteous, clean, and faster than I expected. The quality of the job seems perfect. I was very pleased, especially having been disappointed earlier in the day when talking with Sears about the upgrade. I had fully planned to use Sears, since that is where I bought the oven. However, Sears was unable to work with my timeframe (even though I bought the oven from them just an hour before, and they planned the delivery date!) and required a long window of availability for scheduling. In the future, I will just go directly to Wes Carver Electric to avoid the hassel, and to get both service I can count on, and a job well done.

A pleasure dealing with these guys starting with my initial conversation with Melissa. I needed an outlet installed for a surprise dishwasher I had purchased. Firstly Melissa knew her stuff and as able to confirm electrical code had changed and I did in fact need an outlet for the new installation. Not to mention she was a pleasure to deal with on the phone. I should mention this was a surprise for my wife and I needed the technician to show up after she had left for work. My tech was Jason, he was great, polite, punctual and knowledgeable. I should also mention Jason put up with my Dachshund watching him work and the occasional theft of items from his toolbag. The whole experience has be great start to finish. I could go on, but youll need to find out for yourself should you need any electrical work done. Highly recommended - cheers!

Great company and even better service. We had a lot of work done to our new home. Jason and John were great! Jason came out to the house for an estimate and then we contracted for two days of work. John joined him on one of these days. They did excellent work, were on time, cleaned everything, explained everything, gave options along the way and did not take any short cuts. They were extremely polite to my entire family, (including my two little dogs). Jason, specifically was very patient and knowledgeable about electrical safety, which is very important to a pregnant soon to be mom. If you want awesome service, with someone who you can trust to do great work and who is very reliable, then call Wes Carver Electric.

Wes Carver Electrical Contractors possesses all of the traits and characteristics one would want in someone you let in your home. Before the project began, Wes shared his expertise in planning the work. The technician that performed the service was well informed of the scope of work. He also showed on the date and time promised! Once the work was underway, it was performed in an accurate manner. Even to the point that all of the devices were aligned and level! It was a pleasure working with the folks from Wes Carver Electrical Contractors. It was also reassuring that this level of service did not come with an inflated cost premium.

We had a few odd electrical jobs we wanted done around the house from simple switches and outlets to installing a bypass so that we could run the house with our rolling generator. Jason came out and completed an itemized estimate that same day. We then were able to schedule him to come back out and complete all work the same day when convenient for us. He even came back out the next day when one of the switches didnt work the way we thought it would. Everyday we see examples of how poor the service industry has become. It is great to have a vendor we can rely on. Will not hesitate to call Wes Carver the next time we need work done.

We highly recommend Wes Carver Electric for any electric work you need! Weve used them so far for two big, important jobs (moving the main power line to the house and replacing knob & tube wiring) and we were fortunate to work with Kyle and Jason both times. They were on time, kept us updated throughout the entire process, and made sure to clean up at the end of the day. They were also very knowledgable and never cut corners if they ran into an unexpected issue so we know that everything they did is well-done and up to code. We have a few more small projects needing to be done, and we will definitely be calling Wes Carver again!

We just had landscape lighting installed in the front of the house by Wes Carver Electrical. Jason and John arrived on time and got right to work. They were courteous, organized, and made sure they did not track dirt into the house when they needed to access the electrical box. It was a solid two days of work. There were a few parts of the system that needed tweaking at the end and Jason returned to adjust the lighting to our satisfaction. It was nice to know that customer service and satisfaction is not a thing of the past! Thanks Jason and John for a terrific job.
