I have been using different Hair Cuttery locations for a while now. I figured I would take my business to the Hair Cuttery in Valley Forge shopping center being that I just moved minutes away in Bridgeport. I generally use their service because it is convenient to not have to schedule an appointment since I work 9am-8pm in West Chester as a sales manager for an auto dealer. The quality of cut has always been passable. Keeping in mind that I am very laid back and my "passable" is most likely to be taken as your "uhhhmm can you fix that right there....and uhhh maybe that spot also...uhhh you know what....lets just buzz it!". Tonight 5/8/2013 8:20pm I went through the doors for my convenient "passable" hair cut and found myself a seat since the 3 ladies working were currently helping customers. It was very known that I was there as a customer and they all had acknowledged my presence by all looking at me walking into the business. I sat there very patiently for my turn. It was not until 8:45 until one of the women who seemed to be the manager acknowledged me after checking out a customer. "Oh, did you get signed in" she asks. I tell her no....no one has signed me in. She looks at the clock and then tells me that it is too late and they can not schedule me. She leaves me with "sorry". I left saying nothing as I had nothing polite to say after a long day of work and not thrilled about how things had just occurred. I forward 100% of my efforts to assure customer satisfaction at my work. Is my $15 and $10 tip not worthy? In the end....shame on me for continuing to provide them my business. I will not make the same mistake again.

I was just at this establishment to get my haircut and my stylist did a piss poor job of giving me a trim. Im a guy and I was due for my monthly haircut and all I asked my stylist to do was give me a trim!! How difficult is that ??? All she had to do was maintain the side part and make it a little more manageable, I did not ask for anything fancy and showed her a picture of mine for reference and she still completely ruined it making the top of my hair the same length as the sides. When I pointed out that one side of the hair was cut unevenly she blamed it on my calic. Really?? Its not the first time I am getting my hair cut and I know I dont have a calic in the middle of my head. Its the second time she has given me a bad haircut. I am never going back to this place again. I cant believe I still tipped her. If its 8:30 and she cannot wait to leave the salon she shouldnt take on any customers if shes going to do a half assed job. I had to just get out of there before I said something rude or Id have her fix it. The lady in question is of Latino / African American descent, I apologize for using race to describe her but as pissed off as I was I couldnt wait to get her name or receipt and she never wears a name tag. The business really needs to pay attention to the stylists that they hire and the attitude that the stylists have. This sort of devil may care attitude will prove less than beneficial for the business.

One of the worst salons I have ever been to. Avoid this place like a plague, even If this happens to be the last place on earth that you should get a hair cut from. If that has to be the case, avoid the short latino looking woman who can be extremely rude and offensive in her behavior and language. She clearly hated her job and did a piss poor job in handling my colored hair. The tipping point was that she almost demanded a tip for that kind of hair cut. Go to a sports clips or great clips or one of those chains where people care to work.

By far the worst place to get your hair cut. If I could rate less than 1 star I would. 1 star is being generous. The short Latino women have me back talk and complained about my hair. Someone should send her back to where see came and they should hire new people. I really didnt want to have to write a bad review but I just hate seeing people with bad hair cuts. This establishment is very beat too. Im mad at myself for tipping the woman. If you get anything out of this. Its that you should avoid at all costs.

I got my hair cut here this afternoon by Richard and could not be more thrilled with the results. He gave me his full attention while I was there and was very attentive to every last detail of my cut and style. This was the best hair cut Ive gotten in a long time and for $23 it was a great deal. All of the stylists working were so friendly and talkative the whole experience was very enjoyable. I would recommend Richard and this location to anyone looking for a great hair cut for a great price.

I was top priority.Traci is an excellent hairdresser.I was elated with my haircut. Well worth the money.She a top of the line hairdresser. Trust me people, not to many quality hairdresser as Excellent as Traci. Thank so much for a truly top of the line hair cut. Unfortunately I move out of the state but I hope a lot of business comes to this establishment.

Small space decent waiting area and quick service. No loud annoying music, spa music, etc. a conversation and a haircut. Worth the cost I think! If you make an online appointment, Im willing to bet they get you in and out on time.

FYI Went in at 8PM on Thursday, there were 6 stylists cutting hair and 2 people in line. They said they would not be able to take me before their 9PM close. Sunday called up and they said they do not take appointments on Sunday.

The stylists are very friendly and professional. I wasnt sure what I wanted, so my stylist walked me through options for my facial structure and personal style.
