went in to just get layers and bangs. the style i wanted was not far off from what i already had so i didnt think it would be too much trouble. i came in with several pictures and was very specific about what i liked in those pictures, what i wanted, and what i didnt want. my main concern was that i was growing my hair out and i didnt want to lose length. i wanted layers to add movement and remove some of the bulk and i specified i wanted my bangs to be longer even though i know maintenance for them would be annoying thats how i wanted them. they ignored everything i said. my hair looks nowhere close to the pictures provided. the bangs are too short, they layers are extremely choppy, they removed at least 2in, and i have mullet now. honestly the worst haircut ive ever gotten. the staff was very friendly i feel bad writing a review like this but the haircut i have is just so bad i feel like i need to warn people that regardless of how specific you are you will not recieve a haircut anywhere close to what you want. dont even sacrifice your time or hair to pop in for a visit.

I got a hair cut here before a few time and it was just ok, but for the price its wasnt bad. Last experience was the worst and I will not be returning. Unfortunately, my stylist no longer works there and I had to use someone else. Well, to say that I was not impressed with the job is one thing (literally took less then 5 minutes to cut my hair and I do have a lot of layers that usually take time), but I was also overcharged for having long hair, which has never happened before with my old stylist. For what I was charged, I feel that I could have gone to a spa salon and got a better cut and had my hair actually styled rather then just blowdried like I can do myself at home.

I have always had experience at the Hair Cuttery. To address some of the comments by other people; if other people that came in after you got seen before you try calling ahead and get your name on the list before showing up. $20 including tip sounds like buyers remorse, the prices are posted, either learn to read or learn to say no thanks. Bottom line, I could go in any place of business and find something to complain about, but unless you have a legitimate complaint, get over it. By the way I don't work or have any connection with anyone there, these are just my true feelings.

Stay away from the stylist, Megan. My daughter requested 2 inches be cut from her hair and at least 3 1/2 inches were taken off. The haircut was so terribly uneven that by the time I finished trying to even it out when we got home, a total of 5 inches were removed. Horrible. She would have been better off if I had given her the haircut myself.

My family and I have had our hair cut by Tanya for a number of years now. Shes awesome! The shop is clean and the stylists are friendly - no complaints at all!
