I want to start off by saying, after researching for days upon days , looking and reading reviews I was convinced that this Salon could help achieve the exact look I was seeking. It is a beautiful salon with very pretty women. HOWEVER!! walking in and sitting in the chair with a "master stylist" I kind of expect experience and knowledge... thats why we pay the extra price, to ensure the person is educated and has more experience in the work force. I was super blonde, as blonde as I could go.... I then wanted to go a COOL BLONDE, ASHY SILVERY TONE. I was starting to worry when she was going back and forth asking other stylist what there opinion to do was.....? I asked her after a I seen her ask a few other women if she would be able to do it. She answered ABSOLUTELY, just seeing what will pick up the BEST:) so I was okay with asking opinions hey even the best need advice sometimes. She then proceeded to put MANIC PANIC IN MY HAIR.... wow!!! With remover 15 years of being super blonde I am educated on manic panic. Guys it is a purple heavy duty toner you buy at your local Sallys and add to ur shampoo and or use weekly at home???!!!!! I was floored. A downtown hair salon with a master stylist , are you serious. In the end my hair toned of course 1 shade , maybe. And she told me to buy manic panic and add to my shampoo until I see fit the desires shade of silver tone. I was SPEECHLESS ....... they charged me 65$ for that and I couldnt get out of there fast enough ... I went to my local fishtown hair stylist BLUSH , told me them everything and in 3 hours I had hair that was killer!! They were so amazing. The problem with salons these days are the arent up to date with the education and formulas. They dont even use OLAPLEX? seriously. I wish I would of gotten a refund tbh. Im.not saying dont go.... just be very careful. My stylist was a small petite blonde that was maybe russian.... a bit of a accent. 2nd chair from the big front window. Blah.

After the worst hairstyle in updo history in another salon, Katie Corrigan at Andre Richard Salon SAVED MY LIFE. May 4th I was a bridesmaid in my brothers wedding. The man who styled my hair at a salon on 21st did a terrible job. I warned him my hair was thin and product would not work right other than making it heavy and weighed down. He didnt listen. The curls had come out within 3 minutes. I went back to the salon to get him to fix it only to find out he had gone to lunch (it was 10:45am). They called him back to the salon to fix my hair, and again, he did a half-assed job and I gave up. Just when I was about to rewash it and style it myself in my hotel, i googled salons as a last resort. I called Andre and they happened to have a last minute cancellation and took me in. Katie did the most AMAZING job fixing my hair and making me look like a rockstar for my brothers wedding. She is amazing at what she does and will make anyone look amazing. Please go to this salon! Katie will brighten your day. I promise.

I recently went to this salon and got a full balayge by Stephanie. I had did my research and this salon was known the best for the technique. Also they had Several pictures of their work so I was confident I would get the look I was looking for. I choose Stephanie specifically because in her bio on the website she was known for the technique. She did an amazing job. She gave me the color I wanted and it basically matched the picture I showed her. Stephanie was nice and knew what she was doing very well. I get compliments on my hair all the time and its only be like two weeks but my color looks like what I did the day she did it. The salon had a good vibe and everyone was friendly. I know its a little pricey but I think its worth it. I dont allow just anyone to do my hair especially chemical treatments. So if you want healthy and beautiful colored hair. Go here !

A very disappointing experience. The girl cutting my hair was rough (Giana), didnt listen to anything I said, and didnt at all attempt to start friendly conversation. I was very surprised after reading a lot of positive customer reviews online. Maybe it was an off day, but she didnt seem genuinely happy to be working there and there was a little bit of cattiness between the staff. There are a lot of nicer hair salons in Philly, where you actually will enjoy your haircut (and receive the one you ask for). Words of advice: look elsewhere or at least dont have the stylist I had. I walked out very unhappy with my haircut and no desire to even ask for them to fix it, I would be too worried it ends up worse than before. P.S. They have a strict policy of only allowing tips with cash.

Rachid is truly a master. I am a mature female healthcare executive and have been seeking a stylist since moving to Center City from Florida a few years ago. I couldnt adequately express what was bothering me about my hair, but Rachid studied the shape of my face and the texture of my hair and confidently convinced me the direction we should move. While I expected his balayage technique to be masterful (and it was), I was blown away by the professional, edgy cut. He also recommended I slow down the time between appointments to allow time for hair growth to get us where we need to be. The ultimate test was in my ability to style my own hair - of which I did today and love, love, love this haircut. Thank you Rachid.

On a rainy Saturday afternoon, I had the not so great idea to cut my own hair. Fast forward a few hours, I found myself calling the closest salon with the best reviews, being Revamp. I explained the situation and the receptionist was incredibly sweet and immediately fit me into the schedule with Huey, the owner. After looking at the damage I caused to my hair, Huey began to work his magic. With very curly hair treated with a Brazilian, he knew exactly what to do and I must say, that despite stumbling upon Revamp, this is by far the BEST cut Ive ever had. Its been a week and I literally wake up and go with minimal styling required. Thanks to Huey and team for making dreams come true! I cant wait to go back for my next cut!

I just got back from one of the worst hair cuts of my life. And a day before my birthday. Sound a bit dramatic? Its not. I asked for full head of layers for a more voluminous look—barely got any layers, mostly at the bottom half of my hair. I also said I wanted bangs and I showed her pictures of the exact look I was trying to achieve, this is where it gets ugly. She cut them so short the little hairs near my forehead where sticking up and she just kept cutting shorter and shorter trying to "fix" it. What really pushes it over the edge was when she told me "its okay, it will grow out". I am beyond pissed and will never be going back. Saddest part is, this was suppose to be a "master stylist".
