I hate to write a bad review, especially since the person who did my cut was so nice. I have a very long, thick beard that is very important to me. I had never been to this shop but I assumed beard trims were pretty standard. The young women seemed unsure from the moment I sat down. I asked if she was ok with doing a beard and she said yes. I told her that I wanted very little length taken off. I really just wanted it cleaned up. After a few minutes I looked and it was cut short and very uneven. I got home and took a look and I was shocked. My hair and beard looked terrible! I am very disappointed. I am planning on going somewhere else today to have it fixed. I guess Im to blame. I should have asked if there was someone there who specialized in beards.

Great service, quality and courtesy! Arrived at 1pm for my appointment and was sitting in a chair receiving a haircut by 1:02pm. They switched barbers on me at the last minute, but I have no complaints in terms of quality and service. Had great conversation throughout the whole process and not only did I get a very nice even beard trim, she did a great job with my very long, thick, curly hair (not a skill all people have). Will definitely go back if Im in Philly again and a little behind on my hair care :)

I walk past this shop weekly and never realized they are opened on Sundays--pretty rare. That was the only thing holding me back from making an appointment here, so I think it is safe to say I will be a returning customer. I showed up 10 minutes early and my haircut started 5 minutes early, so that was a win/win. The haircut I got was great and the barber made sure to ask me if everything looked alright before wrapping things up--its nice to know that he wasnt just going through the motions.

Super good hair cuts from Olivia every time; someone else once cut my hair when Olivia wasnt available and she didnt really listen to me, I ended up with something I didnt ask for, just a generic 2 on the sides, 4 on top. Try a few of the barbers and find the right one for you. The price of a cut is $30; this is worth it if you get more than just a buzz cut all over. If you have a simple request, you would waste money here. Overall very friendly and some really excellent hair!

Every single time I get my hair cut at Barber on 24th, its like Im reborn from the depths of a dark basement, shackled with links allowing me to only reach for a single plate of food. After each hair is meticulously trimmed, I break free from captivity and am once again free to walk down Lombard with Norman Greenbaum playing through my headphones. A truly remarkable feeling that happens every 5-7 weeks. Thank you for all you do.

First time getting a cut there and it exceeded expectations! Ta cut my hair and honestly, I couldnt be any happier! I always struggle with finding a style, so I let the expert do the work and he sent me off with a new look. They use a lot of "Layrite" product in there and they sell many different types and styles. Thats the best product Ive used to date. Stop in and check them out.

Very friendly and chilled place. I was a walk-in and they were able to fit me in a reasonable time. It was my first time cutting my hair here and I dont regret it all. I was with Tai. He knows what hes doing. No unevenly cut hair and he fixed my hair line despite it being messed up by other barbers.

I highly recommend this place and ask for Olivia. She does a phenomenal job! Cool atmosphere and style. Parking will be tricky to find. Great experience and reasonable price.
