I also have known Daniel for several years before he became a Chef, while he was in the insurance field. From time to time, Id be invited to a Sabbath meal in which Daniel prepared or helped the host prepare and the food was always amazing. It was always a real treat for me! Recently, very unexpectedly, a loved one passed and Chef Daniel provided a shiva meal for my family and I. It put a huge smile on my face as everything was delicious. Aside from Chef Daniels great culinary skills, he is equally a very fine person as well. Should the need arise, I would never hesitate to have him cook or cater an event for me in the future. Daniel is the kind of chef that always focuses on meeting the needs of every person he serves. I hosted a gathering with a set menu and at the last minute I found out that one of my guests was gluten-intolerant. Daniel did not miss a beat and immediately made her a delicious gluten-free meal that helped her to feel fully included in the experience. His gluten-free chicken fingers were fantastic. Daniel Israel is a fantastic chef. I worked with him to cater a meal for over 100 people at a Jewish non-profit organization in center city. Daniel organized a menu that fit our needs and modified the changes asked of him. Daniels chicken was fantastic and we received many compliments on his cooking. Be sure, as with any caterer, to discuss set up and clean up ahead of time with Daniel since each caterer has differences with that.

Ive "only" had about a dozen dinners and been to 5 or 6 catering occasions prepared by Daniel. Thats a big enough of a sample size for me to say that I would be happy to have meals cooked by Daniel any day of the week (and 2 on Shabbat). From the baked chicken, to the baba ganoush, and everything in between the dishes are delicious, plentiful, and well-presented. If you want great Kosher Food, call (or email) this Chef!

Daniel is a long time friend and has come through for me on multiple occasions when I needed last minute party planning. One occasion was a corporate BBQ for over 40 guests which was a smashing success. We had beef and chicken skewers that were out of this world! His salads and dips are really special too! I have used Daniels services a few times. On one occasion he made a 4 foot tall Menorah made of chocolate to display for a Chanukah event. He was very responsive and professional.
