Carlinos Market is by far the best Gourmet Food Market on the Main Line. They have everything you could possibly imagine, from fresh pasta to fresh breads to prepared meals to awesome desserts. Carlinos just recently catered my daughters birthday and it was amazing! My guests raved about the food and are still talking about the scrumptious cake that Chef Jessica made especially for me. Thank you again Carlinos for the top-notch service!! Also, prices are very fair and actually very comparable with other markets, but no other market can compare to the quality of Carlinos. The staff is soo friendly and soo willing to help. I will never go anywhere else!! I love Carlinos!!

I have had food from Carlinos on multiple occasions and really enjoyed it, but their prices are a bit too high for regular visits. I went the other day willing to splurge a bit and buy their amazing garlic hummus...for $7. The only problem was that when I opened it up the minute I got home, I found out it had MOLD in it. This would be a problem for me at any price, but the $7 price tag especially frustrated me. But, to be honest, I was just glad to have noticed before myself or anyone else ate it. I think this place just seems to be a bit of a crap shoot. When its good, its wonderful but just pay attention to what you are buying. This place is no Balduccis.

We have been shopping here for 29 years while our children and theirs grew up. Great Italian food in a deli or catering format. Managed by second and third generation family members. There are sections for: desserts, cold salads, sandwiches and hoagies, pan pizza and calzones, frozen and fresh pastas, sauces, cheeses, baked goods, entrees, and many imported foods. Most food is made on the premises. Awesome. Parking available in rear.

You can never go wrong with Carlinos, one of the finest Italian gourmet shops in the region (we used to drive out to the burbs for Carlinos when we lived in Philly). Fantastic breads, cured meats, cheeses, lasagnas, pastas, sandwiches, gourmet items. Do not miss the tortellini salad!

Food is ok. Some staff there are very moody and miserable. The head cheff is very good. But food is extremely overpriced. U better make a lot of money. Or live in the main-line. For the $$$ the best catering place is colonial village in manoa shopping center

Fresh pasta is amazing, the meat counter is excellent, and they have a very appealing dessert counter. I can always recommend the lasagnas and broccoli rabe in prepared food but find that some of the soups and sauces are just too salty for my taste.

Tremendous selection of prepared foods from salads to entrees. Freshly baked bread and an incomparable selection of international & domestic cheeses. Not a cheap place, but if youre in the mood to splurge, this is the place to go.

Sometimes its just worth it to fork out the extra cash, and Carlinos is absolutely worth it. Great selection of pastas and homemade sauces. I love their kid sized take out items, its perfect for a busy school day.

I love this place, the food is great, the people are nice and I enjoy the family atmosphere. They have a little bit of everything and it all tastes great! Trust me you gotta try this place.

A Philly hidden gem. Great place for homemade prepared entrees, salads and desserts. Pricey so it may be more of a place for an occasional treat rather than a regular spot.

Great food, large selection, love their Bread. A little expensive for everyday, but great place to get special occasion food if you dont want to cook.

Carlinos is great wish the staff put more attention to the details like all ingredients and rations when making sandwiches.

Overrated. Overpriced. There are many other comparable and superior Italian markets in the Philly suburbs.
