*Update* Halloween came early this year at Public Storage. Things are not much better since my last visit. I didnt get stuck in an elevator this time, but I did find the fire extinguisher case close by smashed with shards of glass exposed just left there - an extremely dangerous safety hazard. There were also huge, nasty cobwebs with gobbledygook hanging from the vents all down the hallway. Gross. And there was bits of broken glass (probably wear and tear from clients and not necessarily from the extinguisher) that were not swept up and disposed of, but just swept to the side against the wall. I dont know where all these 5 star reviews on Google are coming from, BUT ITS NOT REALITY! These people are either complete idiots, or theyre the laziest staff Ive ever seen that cant be bothered to pick up a broom. Its really unacceptable and anyone that rates this place anything above 2 stars has ZERO credibility. I still recommend to AVOID AT ALL COSTS. *Avoid at all costs* Property is dirty, dingy and scary looking. The staff, as far as I can tell from four or five visits, consists of one sixteen year-old girl that cannot answer any questions or provide any useful help. The elevators are a nightmare; they literally look like murders have been committed in them. I have gotten stuck in one twice now. When you ring the help buzzer, you wait fifteen minutes before what I presume is an off-site operator answers and just tells you to wait. I managed to pry the door open and get out. Oh, yes, and the elevator inspection certificates that are posted inside the elevators are all expired. I dont know what fantasy land these positive reviewers are living in, but its not reality. Avoid at all costs.

Frustrating. On Saturday afternoon I moved into my unit and needed second space, so I went into the office to purchase a second unit. The gentleman walked me to the second unit, unlocked in, handed me my lock and key, and we walked outside toward the loading truck. When I loaded the dolly and went to my second unit, there was ANOTHER lock on it and I could not access it. I went to the main office for help but the man had already left for the day. Today I explained the situation to them and that I want my money back for the unit I couldnt enter, and they are only offering me $25 of the $75 I paid, claiming that the $25 administration fee in non-refundable, and a prorated charge for the days I "used" the unit. I explained I NEVER could even enter it, yet they will not give back my mom. I feel completely robbed!

I had the pleasure of going to the 7571 Ridge Avenue Location of Public Storage yesterday. I was highly pleased with the service. I made the reservation online (which was very easy) and called to confirm that I would be coming. When I had to change to the next day, the staff was understanding and accommodating. I was greeted by Chris who showed me the unit and completed the paperwork. I have never done Public Storage before and Chris took the time to answer all questions. I was nervous that the "online pricing" would be different than the real life pricing, but my final price was exactly what I was quoted online. Chris was lovely and explained everything in my rental agreement in full detail. Moving my items in was easy with the provided dollies and carts.

We were looking for storage near our home and visited Public Storage to see what was available. Robert was on site and he was very accommodating, pleasant and professional. He showed me various units and was very helpful in helping me choose my best option. He was a pleasure to deal with. I do find it odd that a late fee is incurred (and a substantial fee at that) after 6 days. I know that their original policy was a late fee after 10 days which seems more reasonable. It does seem to me that Public Storage is trying to increase the chance that theyll be able to collect a late fee from their customers. They have a good number of different sized units. The property is gated and seems safe.

My experience at the PS on Ridge Ave was very good. I did find a better deal on line, however, but I printed out my quote and the gentleman behind the desk (Sorry, I can remember his name!) put in my information and I was all set! I received a great deal to get my items into storage too! There was a strange odor in the hall where my locker is, but was reassured they were aware of it and working on it. The storage room was clean and large. The carts were easily accessible-the problem lies when users dont return them to their proper place! In summary, I am very satisfied with the Ridge Ave PS!

Shonta the manager is a delight! She is very accommodating and always there to make sure everything is in order. She does her job with a smile and it is always nice to see her when I come up to the office. She is also always great when I have to call on the phone. She really cares about helping the customer. Carol is very sweet and personable. She is always ready to be of help. A+ customer service! I really enjoy Public Storage Roxborough. We just got an additional unit this week because of all of the wonderful service we have received. Great job! Highly highly recommend them!

I client of this facility from 1998 through 2008 and over time the quality of service slowly declined. Frequent personal changes, my storage locker was broken into and I lost of expensive sporting gear associated with vandalism family photos, broken dishes, etc. Lack of elevator maintenance and flat bed carts was a constant problem. Ive used Public Storage facilities in other cities with great customer services and the facilities was always well maintained. Clearly this facility needs better management. I give this facility 3 stars.

My experience with the this Public Storage facility was spectacular. Chantel, the person at the front desk, was not only accommodating she was helpful, and actually a great person to talk to. Her dedication to her job seemed unparalleled from any other attendant at any other storage facility, and I have used a lot. She was very knowledge and quickly answered all my questions. The best experienced i ever had with any storage place. I was helped by Shaneek who help me find the right size storage for my furniture. He outlined every detail and was very friendly and professional. I work for at&t as a sales manager and i know how big customer service for companies. He was just awesome and kinda of funny. I will only refer the ppl i know to that location just because of the experience i had with him. Just awesome!!

Dacia was a delight. I made reservation after shopping around. When I came into the office she greeted me with a smile. She was very helpful in helping me get the right unit. She informed me and answered all my questions. Looking at the facility it looks pretty clean and well kept. That is a plus for me. She showed me where everything was located. Loved my rental process. Dacia is great!!
