This place is kind of like a museum of what a post office would have been like in Philadelphia in the 1940s. Funny but sad, and, if you actually want your package, it can be highly annoying. I sometimes order musical instrument equipment from China. It typically takes 3 days to get from Shanghai to New York, then a week to clear customs and get from New York to Philly. And then it can be another week or two from the 19th Street post office to my house 10 blocks away. A lot of USPS employees are very caring and try really hard, but their systems are so antiquated and poorly designed, nothing works right. They try to do tracking but the tracking is often misleading. For example, sometimes the USPS system will say "attempted delivery" but it doesnt mean that at all -- it just means the carriers shift ended before they got to your package. One thing I have learned -- going on the web to request redelivery based on a slip is usually a mistake. Once you do that, you reset the delivery clock and your package can be in limbo for another few days. Better to just go down to 19th street and wait in line, and they search the shelves and can usually find your package.

Postal worker never rings my door bell for packages, never leaves the pick up slips either. This post office sometimes argues with me saying they did leave them. If they arent doing that there is a line out the door to pick up packages from other people like me. They took my name and number before when they lost a package of mine, they never called back and when I went back they did the same again with no call back. On the third time they spent a hour looking for the package and finally found it. No wonder they are going out of business.

How do you like to spend your Saturday? My boyfriend and I spent 45 minutes in line to be told they couldnt find our package l, but ensured they would call. We never recieved a phone call from anyone at this facility. I realize this post office suffers from disorganization and a heavy flux of customers but this is unacceptable! My boyfriend is currently in line for the 4th hour this week attempting to get a package that was not even attempted to be delivered at our apartment. THE WORST.

HORRIBLE - my father died and I needed to put my mail on hold. my mail started delivery again on the correct day, but I never received my held mail. I went to the post office to see what the issue was, they gave me a line of excuses but no results. These people should not be getting our support. TERRIBLE service and worse customer relations - trying to call and Ive dialed 7 times with no one even bothering to pick up the phone AND WE PY THESE PEOPLE?????? big mistake on our part

This is a crappy office. I have been expecting a package for a month, and I have yet to receive it. It was supposed to arrive a week ago from 9/2. THEY DO NOT PICK UP THE PHONE, so people do not even bother. After the 20th or so try, they tell me we have the wrong number and give us one that is out of service. This location is complete utter crap.

This post office is a disaster! Most employees are rude and not helpful. They "lost" a package that I was supposed to get. Said it was out for delivery and I never got it. Never answer the phone, and never pleasant! My mail carrier (substitutes) never take the outgoing mail in my box! I spoke to the supervisor once and she was nice and helpful.

The service at this location is the worst I have ever experienced! They lost a package - though they claim they delivered it - and were entirely unapologetic about their not being able to perform a simple delivery! I am done with using USPS, this is the final straw after having them loose 4 packages this year alone.

Never a pleasure picking up packages at this place. Last time I got the pink slip I went to this place, waited for 4 hours to be told my package wasnt there. Several people were there waiting too. Then my package ended up being delivered to my mailbox the very next day. Makes no sense, total waste of time!

Have picked up many packages from this location and the employees have always been fast and helpful. Never had any issues with lost packages or anything along those lines. Occasionally there may be a wait if a lot of people are there (theres only one window), but that is more the exception than the rule.

The employees that work here are extremely rude and ill-mannered. Have little to no courtesy. They need to be educated about their jobs because they seem to know little to nothing about it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. It is a disaster, take five minutes of your day to go elsewhere.

Hours say 8am to 5pm mon to fri in the slip they left to inform me to pick up my package, but when I asked the rude workers simply said "is it 9am yet?" After 9am I ask if there is a manager. "Theyre not here yet and I dont know when theyll be here."

I dont receive my mail on time or at all 8pm is not acceptable and then the next 3 days no mail at all whats the problem with this office or system i have important mail i need to receive on time or i have penalties to pay

PAR Maintenance

On a regular basis they lose the key to the front door keybox that only they have access to. They walk 3 feet to the mail boxes inside and loose a key. We give them another key and within months they lose that as well.

I have been waiting for 2 packages i reported 3 times now. Someone call me back that was nice who told me I would receive my packages they would make sure I do. But of course still no packages
