Just so everyone knows: this post office is closed on Sundays, which means no sorting or delivery or mail occurs, let alone should anyone be at the office. However, if you have ever had a Sunday "attempted delivery" for a package originating at this USPS location, this is because someone is in the office (they occasionally answer the phone as they feel like it) scanning mail as attempted delivery. This is mail fraud and should be reported every time it happens. Most packages that go through the USPS do not require a signature and say this on the packing label itself. If it does not require a signature, it is to be left at your door/wherever you receive mail. Therefore: attempted delivery scans are mail fraud. It is only deliveries whose items totaled $1,300.00 or more that require a signature through the USPS. Steps to prevent this from happening are to leave a report with your local police department, or the one overlooking the 19144 district. A USPS location with a history of filed reports is one that will get looked into. Also file a mail fraud report/complaint with the United States Postal Inspection Service whose job it is to oversee operations like this. The more that both of these types of reports are filed, the more that this fraudulent annex will be inspected and have further action taken. One of the most disgusting businesses I have ever had to deal with.

This has got to be the worst post office in the city of Philadelphia! when try to call the office youre placed on hold for a minimum of 20to 30 minutes, when you go the the office your guaranteed to stand in line for at least 30 mins, at times with one person working at the window! You ask to speak to a supervisor youre standing there waiting until one of them decides to come to the window, this place is horrible, no customer service skills at all they dont care, now if i go to a post office in Northeast philly or center city Im always in and out and the workers are always pleasant,as Im typing this Im on hold I called in8:00 am its now 8:15, why cant someone come to the phone? On Sept, &, 2016 I sent a package to Atlanta, the woman weighed my package, told me it would cost me $15.91, and it would be the in 7days, its Sept 26 now , the package was returned, with a comment, no postage, now she took my money, and I thought she was competent enough to attache the label, well she did not, its 8:22 Im still on hold, so that means I have to take time and go there this morning to find out why! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST BECAUSE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT IT CUSTOMERS AND THE SUPERVISORS ARE JUST AS BAD. SO BE WARNED!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Worst Post Office I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. This branch should be shut down or everyone fired and all NEW management. Tracking is unreliable because they scan the wrong information. They scan packages as delivered or attempted delivery when they dont feel like delivering. Went through hell trying to track a package that was marked delivered when it wasnt. Was told not to rely on the tracking. Also told not to expect packages to be delivered on time if they are "too heavy". The package they were talking about weighed less than 10lbs! Lived in several different areas of the city and NEVER had to experience such a level of disregard for customers. This is supposed to be a UNITED STATES Post Office. Its really sad that the people who work at this branch dont seem to give a damn about whether or not they do their jobs properly or that the job gets done at all. I see from other reviews that Im not the only Person whos having problems with this branch. Maybe if enough people contact Consumer Affairs they will get their act together. Consumer Affairs really needs to look into these complaints. Perhaps a little media attention will help.

Fraudulent USPS location that should be shutdown or have every worker incarcerated for mail fraud. Attempted delivery scans for mail whose cost are below $1,300.00 is FRAUD. On USPS packing labels, it clearly states that deliveries are to be left at the door or wherever one receives mail if there is not response. No signature is required; you leave it at the door. Sick of these assholes who comes into work when this USPS location is "closed" and scan all mail, always on Sunday, as attempted deliveries so that they can do hell knows what with it later. ALWAYS report these fraudulent "Attempted Delivery" scans from this post office. To your local police. To the United States Postal Inspection Service. Leave a review/recount of experience here. Save a screenshot from all the reviews here. Everything. I hate these lying scum assholes. TL;DR: This USPS location performs many mail fraud activities which are a federal offense and for which they should be fined $250,000+, or the specific workers should be incarcerated. Do not take these small delivery issues lightly where it concerns this USPS and REPORT REPORT REPORT to all police, postal and otherwise.

I have lived here for 5 years and I must say, I am extremely disappointed with this post office. Packages are scanned as delivered that havent been delivered. The most recent incident happened yesterday. My eBay tracking notifies me when I receive my packed. I was notified that it was delivered at 4:08p. Instead of using a notification slip (since the package was too big for the mail box) the carrier claimed she left it outside of the door outside (in a very open and public apartment complex by the way). The apartment camera shows otherwise (so I had to get law enforcement involved). Prior to seeing the cameras, I contacted the manager who said that the carrier was right there next to him. As I am telling him that my package was never delivered, the carrier is in the background laughing loudly. Needless to say, the manager didnt help, nor did he seem to be bothered that the carrier was laughing in the background. Very rude, unprofessional, lazy, and thieving crew they have!

Okay, reading the below reviews once again made me nervous to try out a location. Overall, I had a great experience. I went shortly after they opened on Saturday morning, there was a short line, and upon my turn I was told I needed to speak to a supervisor to help see if I have mail there (I moved to Philly recently and mail was possibly delivered prior to my name being on the mailbox). I spoke to the supervisor and she was very helpful as she checked for my missing mail. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Parking was confusing, as I couldnt tell if I could turn into the building or not, so I parked nearby on the street. I am subtracting a star due to parking, and the possibility that the mail I am searching for was lost on their behalf. Will update soon.

Absolutely horrible, the mailman scans packages as delivered however no one in my building received any mail that day. 2 days later the mailboxes are filled to the max, so much mail crammed in you cant even get the mail out. Should I mention the mail for 6 separate apartments isnt sorted properly, leaving numerous *U.S. mail bins* left in the front and in foyer. I called post office, the line has been busy for 2 days. Today for hours Ive been trying to get through! I had to go in person...the mail clerks said *you again* they delt bad because they have seen me 4 times i the last 8 dayd. Good luck. Pray for help. Because youll need all the help in the world A blessing to control to keep composure to persevere get through in 1 piece.
