Being a business owner, I am at the Phoenixville post office nearly every day. I am always treated with respect and professionalism, although I have seen customers treat the postal counter employees with disdain and disrespect. Before you decide to air your problems to these wonderful people, please consider the immense amount of stress they are under in dealing with everyones packages, especially those who decide they want the counter people to wrap and tape and address their packages for them, like they are a UPS store. They are not, and they are not required to tape your packages, either, yet they do this because they are service-dedicated. I have nothing but commendation for the immense amount of patience the counter employees exude each time I walk in the door. Even if the line is out the door, they try their best to help people. Please extend them the same courtesy and view them as equal to yourself, not some lower kind of person because they work at the post office. In my years of being self-employed, and dealing with suppliers and shippers, the employees at the Phoenixville post office surpass in dedication many with whom I have had contact. Please show them respect, they deserve it, their job is not easy, and they are not here to be your doormat. Thank you Terry, John, Marina, and Orlando!

Where to start..? Most of the coustomer service representatives at this Gay Street location are nasty and terrible to deal with. I have called in to the manager about the staffs inability to speak to people in a civil manner. I am always receiving mail for other people and so I can only assume the same is happening with my missing mail. Today I opened my mail box to find a package that was sent to my children crushed and covered in a dark brown sticky substance. I thought about walking in and showing the staff but I already know I will be spoken to like an idiot and the will pass the buck on the sender. They need to be educated on how to do their jobs properly.

Routinely getting mail thats damaged due to poor weather as my carrier doesnt consider that walking around with everyones mail during a downpour might not be a wise choice. Numerous magazine subscription issues ruined, mail thats illegible, etc. Worst postal service that Ive experienced. Some of the staff at the office are courteous, but complaints about my carrier have been met with retorts and excuses, if anything at all. Lost or delayed items being mailed to me are met with responses to blame the sender or to push the complaint to them to have them address the shortcomings of the USPS. Totally unprofessional.

I have had to call the post office numerous times because they dont deliver my held mail following a vacation. They were accommodating once and delivered it following my call but I shouldnt have to call each time this happens. They have also failed to pick my outgoing mail and my neighbors outgoing mail at least 60% of the time. They even recently took half the outgoing mail in my box! Ive been told some of the delivery personnel are part time and/or temps but shouldnt they still know how to deliver/retrieve mail if theyre going to be employed to do so?

Ive called the post office for help several times in the past. Whoever I talked to has always been extremely helpful, answered my questions, looked up information for me. I find the USPS website sometimes tricky to navigate, so the post office is my go-to for information. I just called about a mailing question and received prompt, accurate information. Thanks to the staff at USPS Phoenixville.

My mail is constantly lost through this post office!! I lived in Berwyn for many years and never once had an issue. I mail important mail out and its never gets where it is supposed to go and same coming my way!!! It is a disgrace how this post office is operated! Whenever I mail something out, I have to drive to another post office other than Phoenixville Post Office. A total shame!

A package I was waiting on has still not arrived...it was due to be here Aug 27...today is Aug 29. Orlando, at the Phoenixville PO, is amazing. He has done everything in his power to find this package to meet my Sunday deadline. He is kind, patient, resourceful...He is a tribute to his profession! Thank you, Orlando! Cynthia C.

Almost daily the Phoenixville post man delivers our mail to the wrong business. We label the business name, the unit number and everything and he continues to deliver it to the wrong place. Its like he just doesnt care. We have had multiple pieces of mail never arrive and I guarantee this is why. Pure laziness.

They could definitely use an upgraded customer service lesson. Its wrong to blame the shipper for you losing my mail. Sometimes youre an A+ post service, others a total F. Maybe some better staffing and coordinating would help. Heavily considering using a more reliable courier.

Dont order any items from Amazon Prime on a Friday and expect Sunday delivery. Every time I order they mark it as delivered but the item is a no show. No wonder UPS and Fed Ex is crushing them in the market place.

This post office has lost my mail numerous times. In two cases they delivered my package 3-4 weeks later, after it had been sent to the wrong house despite the label correctly showing my address.

My mail is constantly late everyday. It is usually delivered by 11am-- now it is not delivered until almost 5pm. Today (3/15/2017) it was not delivered at all.
