I hate to leave negative feedback on things, but Ive given this post office several chances, first of all for months now I either dont get my mail delivered or the mail I get is 5 other peoples mail (no exaggeration I received 5 different people mail in one delivery ) they deliver my packages to the wrong address has happened to many times to count, I now must have packages held there to pick up myself,my neighbors are experiencing the same issues , Ive filed several complaints, spoke to many people and to be honest nothing has changed mail wise, I get its a tough job and I understand mistakes happen but all the time??? And the one new carrier was playing on her phone and bot delivering properly, when asked she said she just shoves mail she doesnt read the names ! I am just exhausted dealing with this, I should get a PO box in told, I just dont think I should have to ,it should be delivered correctly! Just my experience!!

And yet another bad review of pottstown USPS from a pottstown resident. Yes these people are terrible at their job! I never leave reviews but im pissed off and this is my only outlet to show my rage. Pottstown USPS have lost my packages in the past and after going back and forth they end up finding them. This time they completely lost my package and basically told me your SOL. The incompetent mail lady claimed she left the package under the mail box (could not fit into the box). Ok, at least put the damn packages in a secure location! If you can avoid pottstown USPS please do your best. Trust me, im patient but patience goes so far.

Ive lived in a very nice neighborhood Pottstown for 9 years. When I moved here my mail was "being delivered" per the post office, but I assure you it was NOT. My packages have been lost but USPS says they were "stolen" and that I should call the police instead of filing a claim with them. Everytime I called to try to have the situation resolved, nothing changed and I was never called back with an answer like I was promised I would be. The USPS wonders why its going broke UPS and FedEX are doing so well - because they can deliver!!

I work and live in the same delivery zone as this post office. We have packages show up destroyed, some get delivered to other mailboxes and even at work we get stacks of other areas mail. It is a true pain to deal with and the people who answer the phone at the post office are not very friendly. The postmaster is very nice and seems to want to make things better but it seems they cant get a hold on getting quality people there.

Ive had nothing but problems with this place!!! I put a hold on my husbands mail and they still dont hold it.. We call them since he still isnt recieving his mail including a pay check and they give an attitude.. Unprofessional and ignorant. Every single time we call we get a busy signal.. Called again today And was put on hold for 27 minutes.. This is unacceptable and they need new employees

Two times in two months- no mail delivery or pickup of days following a federal holiday. I guess our mail carrier has the luxury of just not delivering or picking up mail if he doesnt feel like it. No wonder the postal service is in bad shape. This is terrible and unreliable customer service! Again, June 30, no pickup or delivery. No one knows why. Completely unreliable.

Used to get our mail everyday by 2pm. Now it seems like we can barely get it every other day and when we do its after 6pm (ridiculous!). Completely unreliable. DHL uses USPS to deliver. Both will promise delivery one date, but it never gets here until a few days later, Its frustrating! They need to hire more people so that their service is more reliable and timely.

Mailman put a package in my apt box and I could not get it out ! While I was trying to get my package the neighbor had a package jammed in his box so bad he tore the packaging trying to get it out ! Why were these not left at our doors ? Now I have to wait another day to get it and another trip to mailbox to leave a note ! Piss poor service ! Sorry !

The post office worker was very inconsiderate to me and my child. She called her a boy and told her to stop looking at the birthday cards. Id be the first person to tell you if my child was behaving badly...she wasnt. She yelled it out in front of the entire line of people. As if going to the post office with a toddler isnt difficult enough!

We use to have such a great mailman but he moved and ever since he left the service sucks!! We go days without getting mail delivered. Was waiting on a package watched a mailman drive bye in his car never delivered the package but marked it as no such address. Such poor service and especially when your waiting for something in the mail

Ive lived in Pottstown for over a year. Their delivery service is so bad, Ive been forced to make all my bills electronic. They constantly either loose, or deliver my mail to the wrong address. Ive called and called with no change in condition. I am surprised that Im not a victim of identiy thef at this point.

I know the USPS in general gets a bad rap, but honestly, the Pottstown branch puts them all to shame. Easily the most inept organization still afloat. Thank goodness for that federal funding. This group could never make it if it actually had to compete for profit like a real business.

By far the worst post office I have ever dealt with. They are pros at loosing packages. Dont expect any help in locating said lost packages, it is like a daily occurrence to them and they just ignore it at this point. I am also constantly getting other peoples mail.

Order things all the time they make there way across country,many airports and never have issues until it hits pottstown and then pottstown will for some reason change the zip code on package or type it wrong and screw it up and make it undeliverable..as one example.

I dont know what everyone is complaining about. I get some great mail and packages sent to me as surprise gifts. I guess I could knock one star off because they put a completely wrong name on the package but its the thought of the gift that really counts.

I used to have respect for the USPS as an extremely hard working service. The pottstown post office is the worst excuse for one Ive ever seen. Packages at the wrong address, mail delivered days late or for days at a time not at all. Failure

Constantly getting the wrong mail. I have spoken to the carrier and facility on multiple occasions now and the problem has not been fixed. Once or twice every now and then is understandable, but multiple times per week is ridiculous.

Absolute WORST service Ive ever had. Mail is often late or doesnt come. Packages marked fragile or Do Not Bend are jammed into the box rather then walked to the front door. I dont have one positive remark about their service.
