Rudest bunch of people. I am new to Coatesville. I am from Downingtown. I used to deal with the Downingtown post office all of the time. They would pull packages and hold them for me to pick up. Coatesville post office told me that it would cost me $20 plus another fee for the reversed shipping fee?! I never heard of such a thing. I therefore called the United States Postal service and found that they were being very dishonest with me because they didnt want to pull the package for me. The worst post office I have ever had to do business with. The people just got away with whatever they want. I am a very nice respectable person but got a lot of negative attitude from the whole group of people I had to deal with.

Not sure who they have sorting mail in this location, but they are forever delivering the wrong mail to my home address in Coatesville! Today I received two Xfinity brochures addressed to a street (Overhill Rd) close to here, but not my address (Wayne Ave). My neighbor is getting my mail and Im getting hers all the time. Luckily, I trust this woman to get my mail to me since the local post office doesnt seem to care who gets my mail! Id be happy to sort it for them and let them pay me a high rate per hour so this doesnt continue.

I have experienced two postal delivery associates since living in the Coatesville area & they were not only courteous but went above & beyond to be sure our mail was delivered, esp. when there is mail that cant be delivered to a PO Box. When visiting the office, an extremely busy place, the staff have always been polite, efficient & courteous. Living in Philadelphia previously and having mail lost & stolen, Coatesville Post Office deserves this 5 star rating in my opinion.

Dont expect them to actually forward your mail. This post office delivered mail to my old address long after I had forwarded my mail. Because of that, a very special package was stolen out of the mail box. When I lived there the route driver would never get out of her vehicle to get signatures for packages requiring one. Instead, she would just leave the orange "sorry we missed you" note, even when it was obvious I was home. Terrible...

Kevin was very helpful and went the extra mile looking for my package at the post office. He didnt need to, but he triple-checked for it and found it as I was leaving, which made my day. People should be more like Kevin.
