Think twice before signing up at this gym. When I signed up for a membership I was relatively new to the area. I was looking for a gym that was relatively inexpensive and did not have meatheads walking around everywhere. OxyFit is close to my work so I figured for its price it would be the right fit for me. Boy was I wrong. To start, the free weight section constantly smells like feet and the lockers are even worse. The machine selection is mediocre and free weights are never available when I want to use them. All this aside, the thing that made me write this review was cost of member ship. Not only did I have to sign up for a year contract and pay a sign-up fee (this is pretty typical) but when I went to cancel they charged me a cancellation fee!! They charged me even though I was at the end of my contract. There justification was "it was a change we made during your contract and therefore you have to abide by it". Business that constantly look for ways to squeeze extra cash out of their clients is not an effective strategy. I would not recommend anyone join this gym. The return on investment at this gym is quite low and spending an extra $5 to $10 can allow you to join much more reputable gyms with far more included services.

Got a reasonable deal on an annual membership. Tried to cancel after 2 months due to lack of use and dissatisfaction with facility cleanliness (as others have indicated). The real kicker was the extra $10 fee for "maintenance" I was charged about every 3 months; seriously?!?!?!?! Called to cancel which verbally I was told I could do only to find out the bait and switch was the contract fine print would require basically the full annual balance to cancel. They cant figure out how to maintain there facility to begin with so what on earth was I paying for? Have been a member at many other gyms over the years and NEVER had to pay extra for their maintenance. If you want exercise, run, dont walk, away from this business. Update 063017 They now want me to pay $39 to cancel an annual membership!!! Update 070417 Told them by email to cancel and they still charged me for another month. Told I had to submit a form and instructions by email indicated that it had to be faxed or mailed in. Contract clearly stated submission by email was OK. They will do whatever they can to line their pockets and fleece yours. STAY AWAY from this business.

When My son, who was minor (High school senior ) who joined this Gym was not told about any fees associated with finishing the one year contract. He finished his one year contract and then stopped because he went to the college in FL. I was shocked they charged the credit card (Which I am going to fight with credit card company) and gave me the explanation of "when you stop using the facility, there is a One month charge associated with it". THIS IS SCAM SCAM SCAM. My son was never told about there is a charge associated for NOT USING the facility. STAY AWAY at any cost from such SCAMMING activity at this location.

Ive only been to this gym for one workout, it was so filthy and out of date that I decided to try to cancel my membership. When I signed up I was told in person that I was able to cancel my membership with a fee of $40, so then when I went to cancel I was hit with a fee of over $300. Ive considered filling a lawsuit but in the end thatll just cost more money. This gym scams people, its filthy, the staff is so rude and the equipment is poorly maintained. I have never been to a gym/business that is so disrespectful and disorganized. Do not go here.

Just not a very nice place to workout at; poorly maintained locker room facilities, interior has a lingering odor as a result of years of poor facility maintenance, expensive for what you receive in return for your membership fees, fees to sign-up, fees to cancel membership, haphazard setup, and much of the equipment is old/outdated. There are many better options for gyms in the area.

Worst gym Ive ever been a member of!!! Dirty, hot, stinky! Antique equipment that isnt even been serviced. I joined 2 1/2 years ago and it has gotten worse, not better. Unbelievable! Ive waited long enough. 3 sinks not fixed for months. How do they not get shut down???

Big place. Good weight equipment. Fair but old aerobic equipment. Poorly maintained mens locker room. This area is not healthy. Its called a health club.
