I was devastated when my M3 convertible received front end damage from a hit and run. I immediately sought out recommendations from several friends who have been quite unfortunate and between them have had the need for dozens of body repairs. The names that kept coming up were Classic Coachwork of the Main Line in Wayne (specifically this location), and one other shop, also with multiple locations, whose name may or may not be similar to the spanish word for horse. I drove to each location, and asked what they could do for my baby. The horse place looked beautiful. The body shop looked like a modern surgical floor, and there was a Lamborghini getting work done - they must be awesome, right? The work is probably just fine there, but Ill tell you what sold me on Classic - the people. By the way, the horse place made no effort to take pictures or make a formal estimate, just gave me some info and said what a great relationship they have with my insurance companys rep, so I would be in good hands. When I stopped into the Wayne location, Frank quickly came out and assessed the damage himself. He took many pictures, and before the day was out I had a quote. Whats more, he suggested I probably shouldnt drive with the bumper dislodged and asked if he could pull it in to bungee it together in a more stable way for me. His guys spent the next 30 minutes removing and then reinstalling the bumper properly, allowing me to safely drive until the work could start. They hadnt even been told theyd earned my business yet. While my car was in, I happened to be nearby and stopped in. Steve gladly took me in to see the progress, and while it was painful to see my car in unpainted skin, it was clear they were carefully restoring it as it should be. Debbie, who runs the front office, was always available by email or phone, and she was instrumental in helping me get answers to any questions I had. Steve consistently kept me updated throughout the process and made sure I had no concerns. Then came pickup day. The car looked great. Frankly, it looked better than it has in years. Whats more, when I dropped the car off I had noted a few blemishes to Steve so that we could agree on what the existing non-insurance damage was. He was going to get me a quote in case i wanted to get it fixed, too. Heres the kicker. They fixed the additional blemishes, and didnt charge me a cent over my deductible. These were not five minute fixes, either. One required paintless dent removal, and having worked with those magicians before, I am confident the charge would have been $150 for the ding, maybe $100 if done in conjunction with other panels. Another required the rocker panel to be removed and repainted, and then required new OEM clips to get it reinstalled correctly. Its just fantastic. Steve, Debbie, and Frank really work great as a team, and they clearly have some expert hands working on the cars in the back. Finally, lest you think Im a completely blind person to faults, Ill point out the only one I see, and its one I can live with. The job took longer than planned. When I came in for the initial estimate, they gave me a date several weeks in the future. They made it clear they could get it in more quickly at one of their other facilities, but again - this specific one was the one highly recommended to me. Sure enough, when that date came, they had parts and were ready for me. The expectation was initially set at "about a week" to get the work done. It took the better part of two weeks. That said, it was well worth it. The Classic team worked beautifully with my insurance company (USAA) for both the initial and supplemental claim needed, and neither time was there any issue with the requested work. I hope I never have to have body work done again, but if I do, Ill be calling Steve immediately to get on their calendar!

Large fender bender on 76W in November ... front hood completely crunched 1/2 way up to the windshield. I asked how long and was told about 4 weeks (would have been Christmas week) due to "deer season" which I thought meant they go to hunt. No ... its because of so many people hitting deer. Well, I waited an additional 3 weeks due to timing and wrong parts being delivered, but finally just got my car back. Its looks great! I drove immediately after getting it for a couple hours on both highway and back roads and couldnt even tell I was in an accident. No noises. Didnt feel different engine-wise. I was told to call with any issues and I will should I encounter any, but I am very pleased even though I had to wait a long time. I saw the previous posts and was really working hard at being patient considering how long I had been waiting and felt compelled to share my experience. Steve is a very nice guy and doesnt say much ... he gets to the point and stays silent (maybe hes expecting a s**tstorm to come at him). Their work was tops ... just dont get into anything during deer season :)

I took my BMW Z4 here to be fixed after a collision. They updated me almost daily on the condition of my vehicle and made my car look brand new (they even fixed a few minor scratches, no charge!). My favorite part was the fact that they sent me a personal thank you note, and Richard gave me a follow up call a few weeks after I got my car back to check up on its condition. I was very pleased with their professionalism. The next time my car had issues, I brought it to a BMW dealership (on the Main Line), thinking that they would do a better work since they specialize in BMWs. I was wrong. I was (and still am) extremely angry about BMW Mainlines work, and I would choose Classic Coachwork over them in a heartbeat the next time I need my Z4 serviced. Overall, Classic Coachwork is the best place to take your vehicle. For someone like me, my Z4 is my baby, and Id never trust her in anyone elses care ever again. Thanks Classic Coachwork!!

This shop never fails at its quest to be the finest auto body repair shop in the region. When accidents happen, I take the affected car to Classic without ever considering other, inferior alternatives. Why? Because these people are perfectionists. When they are finished doing their work, your car will look better than you ever thought possible. Plus, the staff is amazingly cooperative and so easy to work with -- unlike other places that treat clients with disdain. I can only give Classic my highest possible rating and only recommend them to you for whatever interior or exterior body work and painting your car might need. Whether its a BMW or a Chevy, nearly new or quite used, it doesnt matter: These people always bring their "A game" and do their best work. You will not be disappointed!

Someone recently tapped my less than one month old BMW in the parking lot at work. The BMW dealer strongly recommended Classic Coachwork. After working with Steve and crew I now understand why. They made the process painless (by working with the other persons insurer and keeping me out of it), gave frequent updates and the work is beyond reproach. Really, one would never be able to tell paintwork had been touched. I stupidly ran over something on the other side of the car before I dropped off the car to Steve. He replaced and repainted the part (again, no one could tell by looking at it) and his charges, which I paid, were very reasonable. Although I hope not to need his services again, I would absolutely use Classic in the future and recommend their services to anyone I know.
