My husband sumbitted an application 6 months ago, back in April 2007, and they have called him once. About a 4 months ago he called to see if they had anything since he had not heard a thing. Jennifer said she would call as soon as she did. Meanwhile I looked online and there were about 6 jobs he could do. So I called Sherry back the next day and complained, that day Jennifer called back and said she did not like that I called and complained, well to bad do your job. Then 2 days later Jennifer called back with a $7.00 job to clean toliets, my husband is a machine operator/mechanic...are you serious. He told her no thanks, but to call back when she had something better. Now in August he had to call back because we heard nothing. She told him that he was supposed to call her back about a job and never did, why would he do that if he was looking for a job ever since--HE WOULD NOT!! Then that he was supposed to call in weekly, so he was put on the inactive list--that is the first we have EVER heard of that!! The employees at Manpower, esp. Jennifer does not do her job, I do not understand how they are even open? Or for that matter how Jennifer has a job!! I have heard from 2 other people the same thing, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

This place NEVER hires women. I KNOW this is going to sound like a sexist joke, but its right there in the name--- MANpower---. They NEVER EVER hire women at this company, even if the women applying are more than qualified with the manual labor capabilities and experience on their resume. I am sure they are told by whatever company they are acting as the middle man for to specifically only hire males. I literally know of ZERO FEMALES who have gotten work thru MANpower in over 20 years. They also have an illegal blanket policy of never hiring ex-cons or anyone else with ANY record at all. I wish someone would sue them for this blatantly illegal hiring practice.
