For starters, it wasnt my choice to leave even one star. Also, I would like to extend my sympathies among the other reviews . This place is absolutely disgraceful. I am a new resident of the area and was kind of stuck relying on this establishment because it was familiar to me. I have Been there first for an oil change, which was reasonably priced, and not to my surprise, they did try to up sell me, and inform me of a ball joint that needed to be repaired, and to which I already had knowledge of. If youre curious about what they wanted to charge for two tires and a ball joint, it was $723, which everyone knows thats outrageous. To be realistic , Midas is only good for oil changes, tires, and maybe wheel alignments, not for major suspension work. I would assume thats common sense. Then I decided to go back a second time to to get the work done, but the only reason why I had to is because I would probably have to finance it, which they would provide a line of credit. The second estimate was worse than the first, they wanted to charge $800 for the ball joints on both sides, and another $700 for the tires, well Im thinking to myself that this guy is literally on Crack rocks. I told him that just way overpriced , and refused, then he crumpled up the estimate and threw it on his own floor. Now mind you, this is the second time this same person has acted this way. I was literally amused by how immature he was acting. He also said " I should have known better than to waist my time". I then assumed that he had to have been the owner because really...who acts that way?? Then I made a comment to him on the way he was acting , and then he lunged at me. Im thinking . .wow, this man has serious psychological issues, and this was supposedly the supervisor????lol..long story short, I called and reported this guy to the owner, and told him the story. The owner was more fixated on the cost, or whether or not he did the right thing, rather than maybe finding a new supervisor. I thought I was helping the owner out, but he was just as negligent. With a supervisor like that, its either a law suit waiting to happen, or hes going to open his mouth to the wrong person. In conclusion, I highly recommend not coming here. Now lets check this review out later and see what the owners rebuttal will be, let him grace us with his words of wisdom.

Update: Dropping down to three star because they charged me for emissions without telling me or at least letting me know they were going to do the test. I was planning on only getting an inspection. Also they wanted to pay 200+ for a problem that didnt actually exist. Then told me if i fix it myself my car wouldnt be functional until i get an alignment. Well i spent 60 bucks and did the work myself and my alignment hasnt changed. Probably wont go back again. Especially now that the weather is nice and i can do my own oil and fluid changes I only got an oil change but it all comes down to customer service. Even though the Stroudsburg manager and associates sucked and talked to me like I know nothing about a "problem" I already knew about, the associates and receptionist at this location were very kind. They were even able to squeeze me in that day. Great and quick service!

While it was taking over an hour and a half for an oil change that I had an appointment for, I watched one of the mechanics back an SUV (at like full speed) into a car in the parking lot. He didnt come in or say anything at all when it happened or when he brought in the keys. The owner of the suv luckily was outside and saw it happen. But the lady at the front desk was really nice and it was hard to be pissed that it took them so long to change my oil. Wont be bringing my car back here though for fear of it getting smashed into.

I have been to several garages that after leaving I have felt I have been ripped off as far as over paying for a service. This is one garage I try to use for most services. Never came away feeling I have over paid for the service plus all employees have been courteous. KEG

Great service and reasonable prices. The lady up front is the nicest person youll ever meet. I got tires put on my car, and it got in and out very fast. I have been going here for years and have always had great service. I recommend this shop to everyone
