What a joke!! Nobody EVER answers the phone. Ive had 2 packages in less than a month that got delivered to this post office and then they just sit there. The 1st one for 10 days, the 2nd for 7 days! The message says to call a different number for lost packages. When I called this number I either get a busy signal for several days straight or an answering machine picks up and tells you to leave a message and someone will call you back. Then when you try to leave a message, it tells you you cant leave a message because the mailbox is full and I get disconnected!! Very helpfull- Thanks a lot!!!!! Finally I called the USPS 800 number and got someone(after waiting on hold for 20 min). Ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable!

Absolute worst! I drove to York so that I could drop off a letter by a certain deadline. Even though the clerk could physically touch the post office box to which I needed to send something, she wanted to charge $24.95 to "overnight" it. Seriously? The first class postage I paid should be enough to turn around, take two steps and drop it in the PO box. Instead, the letter is transported to Harrisburg so that it can be sorted and come right back to the exact same post office. That process took two days. No wonder the Post Office is the subject of ridicule. They just spent two days and 100 miles in gas to transport a letter six feet. The inefficiency and extortion are remarkable! To add to the frustration, she was rude.

The service is always horrible, you wait 20 minutes for someone to pick up and when they finally do they barely speak English. Ive had several occasions were instructions were given and they never complied. I live on the third floor with no working doorbell which is noted , so i ask that they call ...NEVER !! They just leave me a pink slip ..also once the mail man assumed I wasnt home because my car wasnt out front so he just left me a pink slip, smh like my husband couldnt have been home or using the car ..this lady never carries my packages with her I have to wait til she comes back around to recieve it ..just all around horrible service !

Just called several times back to back and it rung every time till it just hung up by itself. What a waste of time. I hope this changes sooner than later. Furthermore, I wont be surprised if that 5 star rating was one of them or someone associated with them who left it in an attempt to try and tip the balance. This is crazy seeing so many people with the same issue, they must be extremely busy huh..

Very important documents have been just rammed into mail slot, Damaging important documents, Then I try to call and speak on this matter only to be stuck an automatic system that kept redirecting me to more automatic systems and not alive individual of which whom I could speak to upon this matter.

My package has been there for 6 days, noone answers the phone. I can see that these other comments are true i have experienced the exact same thing. Management needs an overhaul.

they NEVER answer their phone and my package has been sitting there for 10 days now. this is getting really annoying. I also put on my shipping for it to be at my house in 3 days.

Why doesnt anyone ever answer the phone?? If those working cant then hire someone who can. I know plenty of folks looking work who would be willing to assist you in this task.

I RAN HERE!!!! I get here at 4:55 and I see them lock the doors on me. Dont have hours of operation if you CLOSE BEFORE TIME POSTED!!!! Unacceptable.

Do not answer phone. Do not leave mail in secure place. Respond to written complaints months later with an upsell. AWFUL.

I had the same experience. I let the phone ring for several minutes and no one answered. Tried twice.
