Expecting a very large check, I put a hold on my mail until I got back after New Years Eve. I walked two miles to the Post Office for them to tell me that I have no mail. When I told them there was a hold, then the story changed and theyd sent my mail out for delivery (even though I specified that I would pick it up). Dont even bother trying to call because a recording tells you that all of the operators are busy and hangs up on you. I called for 45 minutes straight after getting back from the Post Office. Apparently they have no way to contact the courier, so my mail (and Amazon) arrived after every bank in RI had closed for the day. I found a bank branch in Massachusetts that stayed open till 3pm! Just got home from a $101 Uber ride to MA -so I could deposit my check and pay rent on time. Dont know why they didnt friggin listen to me and hold my mail! All of this crap could have been avoided!

Made my mother wait DAYS for priority mail with signature confirmation. I have sent a package to y mom who is retired and has difficulty getting out of the house. Delivery priority with tracking, 3 days. Here we are a WEEK later, never mind the LIES that the RUDE carrier told her about delivery rescheduling. "Customer not available"? REALLY? She is unable to leave the house, HENCE THE PRIORITY DELIVERY!!!!!! You know they did not even make an attempt. Picking on the elderly is COWARDLY and without any MORAL COMPASS WHATSOEVER because you, USPS carrier are a LAZY, ungrateful, JERK. Calls go unanswered, I dont expect complimentary champagne, I expect the package to be delivered that I paid FOR!! GLAD I AM NOT THERE FILMING YOUR RUDE ATTITUDE to our senior citizens for the world to see!

Have an expected delivery date? Expect that to change to at least 3-5 business days after, with zero help from Customer Service and the actual locations staff as well. I walked into this place thinking I could be helped right away, but they just shunned me away saying that its on the truck for delivery but its not! They even asked the other employee what sorting completed meant, and they still didnt know. My packaged is somewhere and I need it but they wouldnt help me at all. You think that they would try to help with getting you your package, but nope. Nothing. Time is money and I dont have all day to be waiting for this package. I needed it days ago. Never using USPS again for packages. UPS youre worth the extra penny. Still waiting.

Horrible place, no one will pick up the phone and all you get is no one is available to pick up your car operators are busy 24/7 and when you do get someone they are rude to you this place doesnt want to do its job it wants to steal peoples packages Im this close of leading people to go away from there I think this place should be shut down all USPS places need to be shut down this is an outrage I am extremely upset and I am going to go to someone to find legal action here congratulations USPS I am bringing legal action upon you you will not be in business anymore

These people are incompetent. For the past month Ive had a problem w/my mailman putting my mail into another tenants mailbox. The other tenant and I have very similar last names and this mailmans too lazy to read the difference. I have already left a complaint about this issue to which the postal supervisor assured me he would correct the problem. Surprise, he didnt do anything and Im still dealing w/this BS. I personally spoke to the mailman about this, to which he vehemently denied doing it. Gotta love Post Office ineptitude...

I have used 24 Corliss Street for years now, and it is always fine for me. Long lines are life in the big city - this is a hightly populated area. The staff is clearly busy non-stop at times, but always pleasant and business-like. I post packages and envelopes to out of town and out of country friends and relatives, with rarely a problem over the years. Even busy holiday mailings have been fine. If the phone isnt answered, remember the staff cuts to so many different public services in the past dozen years - this is the result.

Unlike some of the other commentators, Ive always had pretty good luck at this post office and the people there have been nice and helpful. I did have one incident though where a package I mailed from there was not only opened and re-sealed to appear as if it hadnt been, but a book I had sent was replaced with some religious tract (A Teenagers Prayerbook or something like that). The package was a graduation present and I was pretty upset. I future, I will always put the address label OVER the seam of the box.

The mail carriers SUCK! I have had more problems with this and I am at my wits end. I have called, explained the situations, listened to their lame apologies and still nothing is done. Packages are left in plain sight where anyone can get them. My packages are being sent to the 02904 post office and I live in the 02908 area, the zip on the packages is correct. Mail is being put in mail boxes that have no name on them. Is a moron degree required for this position because if it they all passed!

Most of the time the usps is there everyday, but monday the 26th of jan 2015 we were preparing for a nasty snow storm but the snow had not started until later that evening so we waited and waited for the mailman and he never came even though it was not bad outside!!! What ever happened to heat, sleet, rain , or snow we are always on the go!! Now because of them we went without our meds that we needed very badly!!!! And they are now opened and we cant even get thier phone to ring!!! Very unhappy!!!

Literally the worst. A carrier obviously lied about delivering my package on 12/30, 1)Because I was home all day and no buzzer or knock on the door. 2)The person who is pretending they delivered it said it was left in the mailbox which is hilarious because I live in an aparment complex with a tiny box that a magazine will fit in if you roll it up, and what I ordered is about the size of a large laptop. Liars! They also do not answer the phone. Worst post office ever.

I was nervous to go here based on previous reviews, but it was a great experience! The staff are knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful. I have frequently had workers advise me on different packing options to make my shipment cheaper. The experience has been so consistently exceptional that in the last 9 months I have starting using this post office over FedEx or UPS. They also have ample on-site parking, which is really convenient.

USPS suck, everytime I am receiving or sending a package from that post office, I am never sastified. The employees might act nice but the delivrance of package suck. They should hire peple that are capable to do the job. Instead of leaving people that are only there for a paycheck. I will never use that USPS ever again. I am talking about USPS in general not one in particular
