I came to get an oil change and that went well I was in and out in a reasonable time and payed a normal price. Im giving this establishment one star because I want to let people know if they need anything more than that to definitely not come here for serious repairs. I had to get steering rack bushings installed on my dodge intrepid and I did so because I knew there was play in the steering so I wanted them to check it out, they declared that it was the steering rack bushings and I confirmed it was as well. They installed it and I payed 200 dollars. As soon as I leave the shop I hear rattling from within the dash (where the rack is located) and I tell them about it they say my engine is knocking.. why did they try to feed me this lie? To cover their ass, I knew 100% my car does not knock and after I call out the mechanic on his installation he suddenly goes from professional to ghetto real quick by cursing under his breath like a coward but after much arguing with the manager and the head of the shop it took me approximately 2 and a half weeks to get my money back. So please save yourself the headache and take your vehicle to a pro who is trusted, dont risk your investment in this place like I said oil changes are their specialty do not get any major repairs done here.

I had a VERY bad experience here. It all started with a phone call. I had a conversation with one of the employees at the shop about a muffler over the phone and he told me to bring the car so he could look at it and give me a quote. I live five minutes from the shop. At 12:30pm, I was at the shop(the shop closes at 3pm). As soon as i walked in, the manager or who ever was behind the counter (SORRY EXCUSE FOR A MAN!), started yelling that people dont have anything better to do on Saturdays than wake up late, and then show up at the last minute when the shop is about to close to get their cars fixed. He said that because he saw three or four of us walk in at the same time. I could not believe he was saying that, but i kept my mouth shut. The guy made me so angry that i had to walk out of there. I didnt have time to look at his name-tag... and i regret that. Whoever owns this shop, needs to clean house before its too late. I own four vehicles and Midas will NEVER get my business again!!!! By the way... My rating: -5

Had my brakes & rotors replaced about a 1 1/2 years ago with lifetime warranty pads. About a year later 1 side failed & damaged my rotor. they replaced the pads for free, I had to pay for the rotor their pads destroyed but they told me I also needed new ball joints because the boots were rotted out & couldnt be lubed anymore. Well I found out the boots can be replaced but they didnt offer that cheaper solution but after that job my brakes are now always squealing. Had them check it but didnt fix it. Went back a couple months later & they still had no answer for the noise but instead tried to sell me a $550 caliper replacement that my neighborhood mechanic would do for around $100 & had nothing to do with my problem Sorry but I no longer have any confidence in this company. All they are are sell you up parts changers with no mechanical aptitude. Ill look elsewhere next time.

Ive used this shop several times to mount spare tires and patch holes and theyre fine for that. However I recently purchased a trailer tire from here and after getting it home found out, despite having the same size rating on the sidewall the tire was significantly narrower than my other name brand tires. I called to ask about returning the tire since I hadnt used it and was told they couldnt accept it back since it had been mounted on a rim. I was very disappointed in the shop since the tire could be dismounted and sold to someone else without issue and there was very much an attitude of "not our problem" when I explained the difference. Good customer service up front, but it seems when you have a problem or try to resolve something the service goes out the window despite trying to be polite.

This place is a complete rip off especially if u r a female...I wouldnt suggest this place for a simple oil change....they will patch up things and charge u 700 but they will also cause other issues...my check engine light had never been on until I came here for a simple repair....they said my car was in great condition after fixing the car then a week later my car had multple huge issues that they claim will cost 1000 to fix...but they previously said nothing else was wrong with it....do not go here...they will charge 700+ just for labor....they talk nice only to make u think that u would be making a great decision to allow them to fix it and that u will not find that work done anywhere else for a cheaper price....SHOP AROUND...and regardless of what they say the warranty is pointless....

Have been coming to Midas on Knox Abbott for the past year to get oil changes and car repairs. Every time has been a great experience. Service is prompt and thorough, and the people are nice. I REALLY appreciate that the mechanics will take me to my car, point out and explain any maintenance that needs to be done and why. They are very accommodating. This week my poor Dodge finally died. Mike and Sean have been so helpful with looking at the Dodge, my new Mazda, and were nice enough to let me keep my Dodge at the shop for a day while I arranged for a junk yard to get it. And thank you to Regina too for the many calls I made to make appointments and arrangements. Your guys are the best! I am never going anywhere else!

Recently my brother in law had trouble with his truck and was stranded down the road. I called the store to see if they could get it in quickly and check it out. Mike, the manager told me they were closing in about 30 minutes but they would be able to take a look at it first thing Monday morning. So we had it towed in and as promised, they had it diagnosed as a bad fuel pump, had the part installed and the truck back running in no time. My brother in law is very happy with how fast they were able to fix it. Mike was very friendly and the customer service was great. They did everything they said they would do. I am due for a set of tires on my own car so I will definitely be coming to this store to have them installed.

Awesome place - great honest folks! Today brought my ancient Subaru Legacy Outback to put back the belt which came off. They correctly and thoroughly diagnosed the problem and walked me through all involved details over the phone (I checked with my permanent mechanic all Ive heard from them). It turned to be more than putting the belt back - something caused it to come off in first place. They also suggested reasonable repair of another worn out belt as they would be working on that area. Price seemed to be reasonable - I am not looking for cheapest, but honest service. Definitely will keep them in mind for future repairs/service needs - recommend, feeling very satisfied! Thank you guys!!!
