This place is the worst. I have given them several opportunities and they have continually failed to impress. My latest experience was that I went in on Thursday to make an appointment for service on Saturday and make sure they had all of the parts in stock to avoid the delays previously experienced. I was assured they had the parts in stock and made the earliest appointment they had available so they would be able to complete the work in one day. However, when I came in for my appointment, they asked again what I needed to be done but assured me it would be completed that day. They contacted be shortly before closing on Saturday to tell me they would not be finished but would be finished early Sunday morning and would call me when it was ready to pick up... After waiting all morning I called about 1PM and was told they had a problem with the parts they had in stock but would let me know something within the hour. I had to call them again about 2 hours later only to be told they should be finished in half an hour and would call me. Another hour later and they called to say they were finally finished. As I said, Ive been through this run around with them before and thats why I made sure they had the parts and made the appointment for service. It still took 28 hours to complete what i was told would be a 4 hour job and I was charged additional labor and more for the parts than what I was quoted. If you can do without your car for a couple of days then this is the place to take it for what could be considered regular servicing...

This stores takes too many employees than they can handle. Ive set multiple appointments here and everytime I get there they tell me I have to wait another 1.5-2 hours before I can have my service done. This is probably due to the fact many of the mechanics hang out around the cashiers desk instead of working on the vehicles including the store manager. After one visit for a tire balance I drove off and my car was shaking terribly then I went back and they told me I needed an alignment. The car was still shaking and then they told me they dont know what else they can do. Most of these guys do not know what they are doing or talking about. I paid over 140$ for no reason because I had the same issues afterwards. After another visit I went in for an oil change and I drove away for about 5 minutes and my car engine start smoking. When I immediately returned to this store they looked and told me they spilled oil on the engine. No professional mechanics who charge 70$ for an oil change should send a customer away with oil spilled on their engine. Needless to say I will never return to this location and I hope those who read this will not make the same mistake I did by booking here.

Well I definitely wouldnt give more than one star. Started with the service writer being very inexperienced. I understand he was probably new. But when you put someone on the counter that doesnt know anything you need to at least have someone there to assist him/show him the way to make a work order correctly. Secondly- I brought my truck into the location because I needed my tire patched and figured while its in I might as well have the oil changed. While I was somewhat satisfied with the time it took to complete the services. I am now very upset at the fact that I had bought my own oil and just realized when I cleaned out my truck the leftover oil container I had been given back. The oil bottle had 2 quarts to much in it. Meaning out of the 2 bottles equaling 10 quarts only 6.5 quarts had been used. My truck takes 8.5 quarts. I immediately looked for my paperwork to get the number to call and see they didnt even have my vehicle correct on the paperwork. Very displeased with the lack of professionalism and common sense to pull a dipstick to verify an oil level!

Horrible experience making some purchases at this store. Ordered wheels and tires, the wheels came in and were wrong and the ones I ordered could no longer be ordered. When it came time to have the tires and wheels mounted I was told to look elsewhere for lug nuts because they did not have them and did not mention it when I ordered them. Tires were mounted and left grinding the front bumper. Vehicle had just come back from body shop being painted and left over night for pepboys to mount tires and wheels then gave me back my vehicle with a scratched door after just leaving the body shop minutes before dropping it off. Very bad follow up from the manager. Service manager hung up on my Wife which from reading other reviews sounds typical. Customer service only pointed me back to the store manager who doesnt follow up. I would say customer service is not #1 on the list for this store.

I had an emergency in which the breaks on my 10 year old car lost pressure, I could slow the car but not stop it. Pep Boys was the closest place to get the car into to have it checked. They quickly got my car on a lift and upon inspection they saw and walked me over to see that my break lines had rusted out and cracked open. They began a long and tedious process of working through 7 years of North Eastern rust (that the previous owner had put) on the car to help keep my cost as low as possible. I would like to thank Terrance Hutchinson their breaks specialist for coming in on his day off that week to try and get my car fixed as soon as possible. I would also like to thank Gary Landry their Service Manager for his great customer care, and for all the times hes helped work out a deal so that I could get my car back on the road and not be left flat broke.

I went to Pep Boys for my first service job (oil change and tire rotation) and was assisted by Tony. He did a great job at not only at explaining what other items may be needed for my vehicle, but he was very personal, open and receptive. He wasnt pushy or rushing me, but laid out the options and facts well. He clearly has experience in the industry and customer service. He took the time to be sure I was comfortable while waiting and was friendly throughout the transaction. Who ever is his manager should know, "I will come back to Pep Boys, because of my customer service, patient help, and courteous action from Tony." Prices are good, but you are kept as a customer because of service.
