The Local Cue. What a FANTASTIC BUSINESS CONCEPT! Pool Tables, Board Games, Cell Phone Charging Station decent menu and great beer selection. What is missing? Why 1 Star? The answer is simple! The Local Cue is a Customer Service Consultants Wet Dream when you need an example for how to take a fantastic concept and ruin it with poor customer service. Poor service period! Good luck getting service at a table! Good luck getting service at the bar! Good luck getting service period! I have patronized this establishment three times now and tonight was it! I am done! I have brought different folks all three times and no one is going back. Tonight was a group of fellow instructors/consultants. Anyone out there looking to get into the bar/restaurant business with a winning concept? Patronize this establishment once. Take the concept and open your own bar down the street. Put servers in specific areas and you will own the town! No one wants to wait 10+ minutes at a table with no server visible, go stand at the bar for 15 minutes and no service..... Its that simple! Anyone interested in making a decent return on an investment? See me! I will duplicate the concept with a great selection of pool tables, games, great bar, awesome TV selection and change the wait staff set up and it will be off to the races!

this is the coolest concept for any bar I have ever been to.... there are so many things to do which is great for hang outs, family time, first dates, etc. its a 21+ establishment for a reason. not everyone wants to hang out with other peoples kids, and thats not unreasonable. for those of you upset about getting kicked out for not having an ID, why are you driving around without one anyway? getting asked to a leave a bar is far better than being pulled over and ticketed for a lack of one... let it serve as a reminder. the service is friendly and efficient, and the only times it takes a while are on the weekends, which is anywhere, so if you dont like crowds or a wait time, stay in for the night. the bartenders dont have "sections," and it is indeed a hassle free zone where youre encouraged to move around and try different games and activities. is the service staff supposed to chase after you? nope. but your tab is open throughout, and any bartender can serve you. super chill place with great food and people with a down-to -earth, no kiss-ass kind of mentality. yes, please.

My friend Rey Vega introduced me to Local Cue about this time last year and couldnt wait to come back. The next visit,my wife and I sat the bar and were met with smiles and absolute attention to what we needed. We agreed then that this is our spot especially with all the activities around. It took us back to younger years going through looking at the enormous amount of board games they have. Then we had the opportunity to get a taste of the food and man let me tell you, if you want some good eatin, excuse me,great eatin, then this is the spot. Charlie Brown and his crew will impress you and your taste buds. Then I was blessed with the responsibility of taking care of security a few days a week through Protective Division One and have been able to better know the owners and staff and can say from my experience here that this is the best place in town. Try it for yourself but remember 21 and up with a valid id. Not a picture of it on your phone.

This was one of the worst experiences I have EVER had. I am a 32 year old professional who was asked to leave the place after I had ordered a soda and an appetizer because I did not have an id on me. I had to go to the bar to order because no one came to the table to take my order. Then after telling me I had to leave the waitress asked if I still wanted my order to go because I could not stay. I have never been kicked out of anywhere in my life. I did not attempt to drink because I knew I did not have my ID but being asked to leave a "BAR and GRILL" during day light hours is ridiculous! I will never be back and neither will any of my friends as well as I put in on social media. I work with people in the demographic of this type of establishment and will make sure people know how I was treated.

This place is a fun place to go with your friends to play games, grab drinks, and some food. There is a strict policy that you must be 21 to enter, so do not bring your younger friends and family. The food is rather good here. A step up from the typical bar food. BBQ style, with vegetarian and gluten free options. I particularly like the build your own section of the menu where you can add individualized toppings to cheese fries, tots, or macaroni and cheese. Drinks are fairly priced. I love that you can add to your tab no matter who you order from. So if you order from the bar tender at first and open a tab, you can keep the tab open and order from a server at your table later. The tip is shared between all servers. I think this is a great concept for service.

Not a bad location, food is good, but service KILLS IT!!!!!! Went twice with friends within a two week span. Had two bartenders to run the whole joint. Have to walk to bar to get a drink (even when sitting at a table OR playing pool), but the kicker is the bartenders CAN NOT MULTITASK! I mean I stood leaning over the bar basically, never breaking eye contact with the bartender, and they just walk on by. I had to literally raise my voice and tell him what I need before he would even stop walking on by. First bar tending job? Maybe the guy has never even been to a bar before. Looked to be 21ish. Food was great, but until the service improves I will be staying clear of this place. Maybe give it a try in about 6 moths when the owners work out the growing pains.

The bartenders are only rude if you disrespect them or talk down to them. Even then, they are still patient with you until you start to get that "Im above your rules" or "Do you know how much I make? I could own you" attitude. I saw this happen just last night and the men were asked to leave. Outstanding service, fair prices for such a nice environment, and some of the best food on the east coast. For first time visitors, be aware that Local Cue is a bar that takes responsible retailing VERY seriously. If you are under 21, you will not be allowed in. They MUST see your ID, whether you turned 21 yesterday or 75 years ago. They are simply doing their jobs and abiding by the LAW.

terrible.. my wife wanted to go here for our anniversary, our first night without our kid since hes been born. she loves board games and thought it would be fun to have activities to do besides eat. when we arrived there was no sign that said to seat yourself or wait to be seated. when we finally saw a waitress she told us to seat ourselves and she would be with us shortly. we sat down and waited. 15 minutes later, with no service in sight, we asked the bartender if we could get a server. his response was that "we have a party in the back and as you can see we are busy." so a private party takes precedence over regular customers? we got up and left. thanks local cue!
