Im not rating the post office, itself, Im rating my carrier. I am sooooo over the postal carrier that delivers my mail. I have had numerous complaints about her over the years but this one is really upsetting me. This morning I placed two packages to be mailed in my box and put up the flag. They both had postage already on them and were ready to mail. When I checked my mail this afternoon, the mail she delivered was stuck in beside the largest box and both packages were left in my mailbox. One of those packages had a deadline to meet and now will not meet the deadline because it was NOT mailed today. I will now have to pay a charge for this. That disturbs me greatly. Why is our postal service so slack??? This is irresponsible service, to say the least.

It takes DAYS for someone to actually answer the phone. I called 20 times a day for a week and nobody ever answered. I finally called the USPS toll free number to have a message sent to them. Are you kidding? So poorly run. If this was a real business everyone at this place would be unemployed. Why do we accept such poor service here. I look forward to the day these all close and we go electronic.

The Post Office at 654 Bellamy Ave Murrells Inlet is the best around.All the clerks are friendly and handle the customers very quickly.If the lines get backed up they usually have another clerk open a window to help or a manager gets the basic mail customers from the lines.

Lazy...lazy ..lazy..over 1 week for delivery from NJ to Murrells Inlet SC...and I paid for priority..this is why anything goverment run/funded loses money..why hire by qualification when you can over pay for incompetence!
