VERY RUDE POSTMASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Received a package at my business location. I asked the mail man if I could send it back if needed. He stated yes as long as you dont open it. He put it in my hands and walked out the door. When I brought the package to my desk and turned it over 2 sides had been sliced open and the wrapping on the inside had been torn into. I tried to catch the delivery man but he was already a half a block down the st. & customers walked into my store. I went to the USPS the next AM to have them send it back. The girl at the counter had my regular mail man call the temp. mail man that delivered the package & questioned him about the shape of the package. The Temp. mail man apparently told them that the package was not delivered opened. I had to wait to talk to the postmaster. The postmaster was the rudest customer service representative I have ever met, telling me that there is nothing they can do. I told him again that this is indeed how I received the package. The postmaster stated "What do you want from us?" I told him I simply wanted the package returned to sender. He said "Fine" and then slammed his door in my face!!! This was the first time I had ever tried to return anything, and the first time I had ever met the Post Master.

I just returned from the 6th Ave Post Office. I talked to Dave about having my mail delivered to my Condo Mail box located on site. I just moved to the condo as a permanent resident and was told by Dave that they would not give me a mail box since there was only 143 mail boxes and the condo complex needs to add more boxes for the entire condo complex which would be 377. I showed him that there is 127 boxes unused and several that the owners sold their units and they are also empty. I asked if I could switch one of the empty boxes to my unit. He said no way they are assigned to that unit only. I said several people have moved here and they got a mail box at no cost. He said the rules have changed. Well show me the law where you cant give me a box for my mail delivery. He said I need to rent a PO Box to get my mail. Why would I do that when I pay for mail delivery to my residence. Poor Customer Service for sure. Guess I need to elevate this issue up the chain to try and resolve this problem. Dave did sound a little upset that so many people are moving here. He sure did not give me a warm and fuzzy "Welcome to NMB, SC" I will keep moving forward to resolve this very simple issue.

We had our mail and the mail of our military relocating daughter’s family forward from Spartanburg, SC to North Myrtle Beach. It was to take 10 days. I am told the mail during that 10 days is sent to Virginia. The 10 days is long over due. So I went to the North Myrtle Beach PO for help. I spoke with the supervisor Robert Yoe. He did not want to even try to help me. He only wanted to say the same thing happened to him. I could have gotten that from talking with neighbors. I expect once their policies are exceeded for the chain-of -command to offer to investigate and find the problem. I will talk with Ms. Anderson tomorrow. This is how the USPS treats our military families.

First I went to Little River PO as they would not answer their phone, I needed a new lock on my mailbox. I was told that n. Myrtle Beach was the one to call. I called and was told to come in and pay $30 and they could put on a new lock. I drove there from Little River and after standing in line was told I needed proof that I received mail at that address, liscese would not do. Why wasnt I told this in the first place, so back home back to PO. Then they tell me that due to the fact that my box is small they will have to hold my mail cause they cant change the lock for a week. Then I will have to go pick it up. This place and the supervisor is a joke

Convenient, Friendly, Efficient.....the personnel and operation. And this branch actually delivers parcels right to my door! (Unlike the branch from my previous location right up the road, which made me drive to the P.O. to pick up packages for which "to-the-door" service was paid in advance. The name of this latter branch will remain unmentioned, "to protect the innocent", so to say. ) Yes, indeed, if you are visiting North Myrtle Beach and need to ship or receive any mail or parcels, the 6th Avenue branch is the go-to source!

I cant even begin to tell you how many times they have lost my mail. We have a post office box there and the mail is constantly misdelivered to the wrong box. Supervisors are never any help and deny accountability every time. Then miraculously the mail shows up in the box a week later. We run a substantially sized business and payments from our customers are perpetually delayed due to incorrect sorting. The incompetence is unbelievable.

My family live in England and I have sent birthday cards to them from this post office several times. The mailing costs have varied every time from $1.50 to $14 for the same size envelope depending on who is on the counter. I questioned why a small envelope was $14 and the lady was very rude, I asked her to check again then she mumbled $3.50. I now use the post office in Little River , much better service and pleasant staff

Whats with the new delivery rule that prohibits the mail carriers from delivering USPS packages directly to the doors of condo units? Packages now have to be picked up at the PO! We pay for 2 day delivery and now its impossible get what we pay for. This is especially troublesome for elderly, and the handicapped. If every package recipient now has to go to the PO to get their packages the lines will be out the door.

Mark was absolutely awful so rude and disrespectful. He wasnt even the employee working with me. He even had the audacity to talk about me as I was leaving and didnt realize I had herd him. I tried to talk to the supervisor and he would not come out to even speak with me. It sad that this is how costumers get treated .
