Ive been going to Rodney since 2009 or 2010...Back when I was in college! Its often HARD to find GREAT Beauticians who NOT ONLY know how to style hair but how to give you HEALTHY HAIR! They teach you the science behind what theyre doing and give you advice and products that keep your hair just as beautiful and full of life just as the day you left!! Now it being 2016 and Im off in the military, I still schedule time to get an appointment at Rodney L. Barnes Hair salon when I come home! If you want HEALTHY HAIR this is the place to go

Rodney, Alex and Trell are the most professional and friendly stylists Ive encountered. Alex is my stylist but everyone is the shop is pleasant and makes me feel welcome. Im greeted at every appointment,. There is no wait time and my appointments are short. I also love the products used at the salon and have purchased some for home use. At my consultation with Alex, I explained what I wanted and she executed. From color to cut to styling, Alex is amazing at her craft. I highly recommend this salon.

So I came into this salon with the intention in hoping that Trell could hell me with my natural hair. I must say that this business is great. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment at 8:30. Sat in the waiting room for a few minutes were checked on from time to time and began my hair process with treatment, cut, shampooed and blowed out. I must say I truly thank my friend for referring me to them. Oh my gosh. If you’re having doubt please go and trust. ** Swings hair and falls back in place !

I first went to Rodney L Barnes Salon the summer that I turned 13. At 22 years old, 9 years later, this is the only salon I go to. From hair treatments to coloring to cuts, I know that I can never go wrong coming here. I live in Charlotte, and it is a 45 to sometimes an hour commute to get there.
