Based off of 2 great recommendations, I booked an appointment through style seat and showed up at the time. No one was at the salon and doors were locked. I sat and wanted for roughly 20 minutes thinking life happens, maybe the stylist may have been running late...no one ever came. I called the contact number that I had, no one answered the phone either. I never received any contact from anyone saying that the appointment was cancelled or had been changed, so I showed up at the scheduled time basically for nothing. This when I could have taken my business to someone else. If clients do not show up for appointments within a 24 hour window, they are still charged, but it is ok for the stylist not to show up and not give proper notice????? On top of that, I received notice that there was an attempt to take money off of my cards account for the amount of what the appointment would have costed me. I love to promote and be clientele for local business, especially those that are of the minority background, but this has not been a good one for me this time. I was thinking maybe I would be contacted to received an apology or explanation for maybe whatever mix up had happen, but I ASSUME wrong. Live and learn.... Though I was excited to find a new hair salon "home," this particular place is not for me. First time dealing with this business and probably the last time as well.

I was a bet nervous at first coming to the salon because its been a long time since I let other people in my hair, but Andrea gave me a dominican blowout and it was a wonderful experience. The stylists make you feel comfortable and relax. They are very educated about what they are putting in your hair. Andrea also gave me the knowledge I needed to know to care for my hair in the future!...I will be back and Im going to bring others.

Not really sure what the purpose of their online appt setting app is for.....made at least 3 separate apps and still manage to sit waiting at least 45 minutes. I guess prices are OK for a salon that specializes in natural hair, but Ill keep shopping around.

I have a tapered twa that Im growing out. I got two strands twists done by Wilbert. Everyone loves them. I took the twists out a few days ago and I love the result. #hairrepairguy

only tried once here. they did quite a good job. however, I still prefer to let my wife do the haircut for me. She knows exactly what I want.
